    No problem. After 18 years of having my exhaust value wired open everything is now working. For those with a rattling bypass valve I found that putting a small tension spring on the actuator arm pulling at a right angle away from the valves up/down travel really helps. Make sure you have a steady vacuum out of the bean tin. I had to replace both of the small check valves and the. I’d get a steady 10-15 in hg on startup and 55 in hg after a quick run

    I've had two PartsTec PTA510-0549 on the car for a while now, working fine. £14 each. I don't think it's a risky area to fit a cheaper part and they are essentially so ubiquitous as to be commoditised.

    Ferrari turn signal relay 158019 (superseded by 170762) is the same as Alfa Romeo 60693732. Here in the UK, £25 from an Alfa Romeo shop instead of £150 for the same part from Ferrari.
