I self installed the von Braun wheel in about 2.5 hours, with no prior experience swapping a steering wheel or removing the steering wheel surround and instrument panel. Referenced multiple preexisting videos and posts in the process. Please see my process below:

Tools: Phillips head screw driver, Allen wrench, 24mm or 15/16in socket, torque wrench, steering wheel puller, electrical tape or heat shrink

Step 1: Turn off battery disconnect
    Step 2: Remove airbag
Step 3: Remove steering wheel rim by removing 4 Allen screws

Step 4: Remove nut and washer on steering column with 24mm or 15/16in socket and torque wrench. Be careful of direction of rotation to avoid contact with windshield.

Step 5: Pull wheel hub with steering wheel puller

Step 6: Disconnect airbag wiring harness. This is the worst part as it requires removal of the steering wheel surround, which requires repositioning of the instrument cluster. I referenced Post #10 in this thread (https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/355-how-to-remove-steering-column-cover.448967/) to remove the steering wheel surround and followed the advice of Post #8 to release the instrument cluster to allow repositioning which facilitates pulling the upper half of the steering wheel surround. Once the steering wheel surround is removed you have full access to the airbag wiring harness to disconnect it.

Step 7: Insert von Braun supplied resistor into airbag wiring harness plug. I referenced Post #3 from this thread (https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/whats-needed-to-bypass-airbag-light-when-replacing-steering-wheel-with-non-airbag-wheel.647759/#post-148092799) to perform that process.
Step 8: Replace steering wheel surround and instrument cluster by performing reverse of Step 6.
Step 9: Attach von Braun steering wheel by removing front cover (remove 3 screwed on back), slide wheel onto the steering column, reapply steering column nut. The existing washer from the airbag steering wheel is seemingly too thick to fully thread the nut with this wheel. I’m going to order a thinner washer and redo this step. Also, if anyone has recommendations regarding torque setting for this nut it would be much appreciated. Apply steering wheel cover.
Step 10: Turn on battery disconnect.

I took my F355 for a brief drive last night. No airbag warning light. Wheel felt great. Excellent upgrade for ingress/egress as well as legroom for a taller person (6’2”) with the 50mm spacer. Looking forward to assessing driving feel in the days ahead. Overall very happy with the final product. Instructions would have made the process more straightforward, but everything I needed to learn I was able to find on FChat. Thanks to @yelcab, @ze_shark, and @Mike Morrissey for their prior contributions without which it would have been a very frustrating endeavor.
