While Bruce & Andrea were out in the TR, i had some time to be alone with the Crossfire...
i've driven it many times... For these pictures, i only drove it in the street and on the lawn (Bruce LOVED that!)... i just took the pictures because i wanted to... i posted them because i figured maybe some folks would like to see them... Sorry, John... Next time i go back, i'll take 100+ pictures of the interior and post them in a sequel to this thread; that'll piss everyone off even MORE... Gilles, i think it's a special package to get that crazy chrome stuff, however, every Crossfire i've seen (3, maybe 4) has the chrome stuff... Azzurro328 would know for sure... Here's some more assorted pictures... Enjoy...!
Mr. McCoy......................... Thank you for posting these pic's of the new baby. They are fabulous!! I'll be the first to agree that the X-Fire cannot compare to the TR. They are two different animals. The X-Fire is a dream to drive................. The TR is a complete and utter beast.................. It's truly astounding the amount of attention this little car gets. We can't take it out without having to explain it's credentials!! See what happens when we leave Carbon alone???? molti molti grazie!! Andreanna
good call Will! =D Maybe she has her own keyboard? BTW, you should include in the subjectline: 56K NO or something of the sort. I'm not on dialup, but this old clunker crashed a few times trying to load up this page. image intensive just kills it. =/
Andreanna...! Nice to see you here...! i'm glad you like the pictures... Hey, BWS88TR, she's taken, so- oh, wait, that's you, Bruce... Randy, i figured "Lots Of Pictures!" would've been sufficient... i'll be more specific next time...
First saw the X-fire at the Geneva motor show last year liked it then and like it now,but I agree with the other posters "can we have more pics of the interior" Please!!!!
Interesting car. THere is a silver one downstairs. I like the front, but the back does not do it for me. Very nice neighborhood/house Mr. Welllington has there. By the way Carbon, what kind of camera do you use? My apologies if I have asked you before. I am ordering the new canon elf s500, so I wanted to check with you. Also is it me, or does the paint job on the Crossfire has lots of scratches already?
Nice responses from you all!! Ryan: I have to say though it is the back of the car that does it for me...not the front...I think the front is a little non-descript. There really are'nt any visible scratches maybe it is the sunlight or Carbon's camera!!(sorry D) All in all it has more get up and go than I'd like to admit....92 seems to be my norm!!
Different strokes for different folks for sure. I love the BMW M coupe (referred to as the "penis car" or "the shoe" by many people), but I know lot of people hate it. So I totally understand the difference in tastes, that is what makes automobiles so much fun I was referring to post #9 by Carbon, picture 3 of the door handle. But you are right, may be sun or camera Glad you like the car. Enjoy it in good health Glad to see you post here. Hope your back/health is fine. And we really appreciate your keyboard having a capslock button
I appreciate your kind concern!! Doing fine now...if I can get in and out of the TR and the X-Fire...my back is Grrrrreat!! Sorry guys....my efforts have been futile in getting Bruce to type with the all-caps button off!! I will address the paint issue when I take it for it's first service...still has only 1700 miles on it...NJ weather.....arghhh!!
Hey, my camera's fine - THE CAR WAS DIRTY...! Adnon (sp?), i have a Sony Cyber Shot, 3.1 (3.2, maybe?) mega pixels... Comes in handy for pictures and even videos... Have memory stick, will travel... The Elph seems nice; i think some other folks on here might have one... i decided not to go with it; however if you're talking 5 mp, then you're probably looking at something that was out of my price range to begin with... Folks, i'll take more pictures of the interior the next time i'm there...
Hey Carb thanks for the pictures. Bruce or Carbon, how well does it drive? My step dad is looking at these, SSRs, and the CTS-V for his new car and I was just wondering(I'm badgering him to get the CTS-V)
Yeah if you can get in the X fire, and drive 92mph, I assume your health is golden As far as Bruce and caps, don't worry about it. I actually enjoy seeing it now. Yes I am weird, but it is like a marriage, you have to accept some things. We have accepted Bruce's capslock problem Actually he is a great guy, and certainly one of the nicest guys on the board. NJ weather is nice. I have a friend who lives out in Chatham, and he was saying it was gonna snow today. Out here, it is about 75 degrees, with a light breeze, and a clear view to the golden gate bridge. Life is rough
I think Andreanna would be best person to answer your question, since it seems that it is her car. Unless of course your question has the presumption that women know nothing about cars, and can't drive them.
Well I was looking in the 500 price range. I was going to get the DSC T1, but I found that because it is so small, pics can be blurry sometimes. Yeah 5mp for me. -Ryan (close but no cigar on the spelling, but kudos for good memory )
