Just saw this one on ebay... I have never seen this color before... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=2469858662 Just more of a interest point - anyone ever seen one in this color? I am not sure I like it - does not accent the lines as well as some of the other off colors like Silver, Blue, Black...
Never seen it before on a F355. Not bad, I actually like it... It's special. But, you're right, black, silver, blue,... suits the car even better. Greets, Alexander.
My 308 was Verde Pino (green metallic). I've seen a 328 on the internet and I saw a 348 in person at the f-car dealer in Seattle (a number of years ago). I happen to like it but I am biased.
I have seen one in person. I like the color. In person it looks better than in pics. I thought the color worked well with the 355 shape.
Seen plenty of them...Not bad from an esthetic point of view, but green is for British cars and not that there's anything wrong with British cars (reputation notwithstanding), green Ferraris are a little odd to look at. Remember the reason the British drink warm beer is because they have Lucas refrigerators ;-)
i saw this car in person and it's not a very attractive green - it's verde mugello (and i love green, my first 355 was silverstone verde which is much closer to a british racing green). i'm very open to non-traditional fcar colors but this green is very light, almost minty.
There's one in the SF area driven by the Chief Driving Instructor for SF FCA. The color is not my cup of tea, but that's what makes the world go 'round. Gary
The Original Sticker is saying Metallic Green? When I first took a look I thought it was Verde in bright lights making it look that way... but it says Metallic...
i saw one in this color with yellow wheels in Ca (can't remember the name). A few days later i saw it at Concorso
This car is Dave Wilson's. His car has yellow wheels for the track. He's a chief driving instructor for FCA - COOL guy. Funny story: I'm at Modena Motors shooting the **** with Tony. I'm really open with my car, and this old guy pulls up ni a 355 spider and starts looking at my car. I tell him to check it out, pull it apart, whatever. He mentions he's thikning about buying one, so I say hey, wanna go for a ride? Take it out, I'm not gng anywhere for a while. Well, he had to ask Tony to prep something for an upcoming event (I had no idea who this old guy is at the time), and he says sure, but I won't drive it w/o you. Ok, well, this says hey, we'll drive it to my place and then head back down, ok? Fine with me. Turns out he lives up int he mountains (on Skyline, for you locals), and is HAULING A$$ up there. When we get there, turns out there are racing trophies and memorabilia everywhere! His son, it seems, has been a national karting champion two years in a row. Anyways, we come back down and I find out he's an FCA chief driving instructor, blah blah blah. Cool guy. A week later i get the call, he bought a red/tan 550 himself! Dave's a good, cool guy, and yes his car is bizarre with the yellow track rims. --Dan
It is an interesting color. I like this one better though (british racing green): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=2468930701
There is a gorgeous 575 in dark green with full tan interior on ebay. The auction may have ended already. It is at Ferrari of Washington and awesome in real life.
I liked this one better : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6212&item=2468930701&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBBI%3AIT Strange to be 2 green 355 spyders for sale at the same time on ebay. I liked the interior - It looks a little darker than the normal tan.
This color is very nice. Heres one with cream top - it has a major damage though, so I decided to remove it. But the color is still very nice. Paul
