I too know a lot of useless things.

Speak french-english-italian, so any translation is no biggie. Also know the basics of german and spanish (basically just bad words :D).

I can help out for anything relating to motocross, ATVs, snowmobiling.

I can also make a full tank of gas disappear in a couple hours. Disappear. Gone. Bu-bye!

Basically, I'm pretty useless ... haha

Hmm I can help with the following

1)Import racing history (as I wrote in a thread here not too long ago)

2)Very good at buying used Japanese cars. So if you are looking for a beater, I will find it no charge of course :)

3)I can fix any japanese cars pretty much. Being doing timing belt/clutch jobs since I was 16.

4)Currently in school for Legal Studies and Business (undergrad)...in reality it means I can tell you info from books which doesn't help in the real world.

5)Have knowledge on importation of difficult cars to the US from Japan/Australia, and have friends at CA licensing places.

6)If you ever need vacation information for Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Nepal I should be able to help you. I have two uncles who are Ambassadors from Bangladesh to various countries so I get to visit them and learn a lot about that part of the world.

7)Great tour guide if you are in the Los Angeles/San Francisco area. :)

It's always amazing to me the collection of talent in this place!

Since I'm not an expert in any particular thing I'll just throw in that if you have questions regarding cigars I'm very willing to help in whatever way I can. I don't claim to be an expert, but I do have contacts in the tobacco industry and I consider myself to be well informed. My .02:)

Dom...........since you're a Toxicology expert.....I've heard a lot about Ricen lately............why is it so deadly, it's made from Castor beans right? I don't expect you to say "how it's made" ...but it seems fairly easy......a few people in the news have been busted making it. Is it dangerous to handle, can an average person make it, does it take a lot of knowhow, a real laboratory.....just general stuff............I've seen people getting arrested for it, and I'm wondering how they all make it themselves.

Ricin acts mainly by blocking protein synthesis and leads to cell death. If ingested in sufficient amounts, ricin can cause severe gastroenteritis, GI hemorrhage, and hepatic, splenic, and renal necrosis. Death may occur secondary to circulatory collapse. However, toxicity via oral injection is limited due to absorption (it can be efficiently destroyed in the intestine).

It is relatively easy to extract (requires knowledge of chromatography, so anyone with a Bachelors degree in biology or chemistry would be able to do it). This ease of extraction, and relatively wide availability makes it a potential biological WMD, which is why you hear about it so much. However, since it is not that toxic (relative to say, botulism toxin), it may be limited as a WMD.

    Hope this helps.

I also can help you manuever an armored regiment in battle.....call in airstrikes or artillery......help teach you to shoot a human sized target 8/10 times at 1000 metres......or help you with combat recognition of any and all military equipment that runs on land, floats or flies........and that's just for starters.
