Do Fchatters collectively own every model of Ferrari? Well, let's see how many we cover... This is the new-fangled version of the Master Model List thread... but this time we'll use a public poll, that way every model owner gets credit AND it is automatically compiled for us in one place. Simply vote for each model that you personally own. Not once owned; not will own; but do currently own. Let me know if your model is not in the list and we'll add it...
Do 1:18s count...? If so, i make up quite a bit of the list... NNO, F50, F40, 288 GTO, 333 SP, 250 GTO, 250 GT SWB, etc....
No, not here. But maybe a 1:18 Master Model List in Collectibles would be fun? Although we may test the limits of the software with it!
Great. Another forum i have no business being in. LOL...! i could take pictures... Lots and lots of very detailed pictures of each and every model... i'm sure Rob would LOVE that...
As 0846 started as a P3 and was converted to a P4 by Ferrari I checked both. If they make a US legal version of the MC 12 I'm in for one.
I agree also... but note that the 288GTO appears in both Classic and Super Ferraris. So, the P3 and P4 should definitely be in the Vintage Master Model List whenever we compile such list (any of our Vintage experts want to step up to that task?). The question is whether its okay to also appear here. Obviously, I thought so... but then I am particularly fond of the P3 & P4. And is it okay for the GTO to appear in both lists?
And lots of passionate enthusiasts! For example, I buy every magazine that tests the car I own (Stradale) or either of the cars I love (the F50 or the Mclaren F1). And there are more than 10 owners here... they just don't vote in this thread for some reason.
Although a few still have not voted, its time to unstick these... look here for a summary of the numbers so far.
There are votes in there for cars that the voters don't own... Did you ever put together a master model list poll for the vintage section...? If not, i think i'd like to try that out...
We have added many new Fchatters in the last four months... many being owners who have probably never seen this "census"... please check any Ferraris that you currently own.
Nope... please go for it! You can get a pretty complete list from the Ferrari Owners site... and there are some good encyclopedic books to draw from... but identifying the interesting variations among models takes a bit more expertise... before you post the poll, you might want to pick a few experts to review your list. Wayne, Edvar, and your boss would make an excellent review committee!
