Anyone more info on this car? It now belongs to J. Bosch. There is a photo on barchetta before he bought it (somewhere in a museum..?) Is this car built by Ferrari or Guy Rivillon of France? Who made the alterations on the car? First race(s) is was smaller (no widened fenders and 'air boxes' on the sides. Licenseplate at the time: 459 XQ75 (City Paris, Ch. Pozzi) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Tom, 14407 is a real first serie 1971 factory car, completed on 10/09/1971. The car often went back to factory for modifications when owned by Ch. Pozzi. The pic on Barchetta.cc doesn't show 14407 but a Gr4 conversion with s/n 13213 at Mougins museum in South of France (near Cannes and Monaco) in early 90's. I'm absolute sure of that because I saw myself the s/n in 1993. Ciao
Thank Aardy! Nowadays the car has plexi windows like the car from the museum. I am still looking for pics from the races of 14407 at Le Mans in 71, 73 and 74.
Tom, 14407 did never race the 1971 Le Mans race. Here are pics of 1972, 1973 and 1974 Le Mans race. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
and some more pictures of 14407 at 4 hours of le mans 72 (n°39) and 73 (n°46) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes my mistake, car ran at LM 72, 73 and 74 and not 71. Car can be seen in the Shell Historic races this year. It was a little damaged last year in the Tour Espana. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
