I guess I can make one.
Well I saw a 348 Spider, Lotus V8 twin turbo, new Viper, Bentley Arnage and a pretty Porsche 911 Turbo today, just driving around North Atlanta.
I was driving from Canton back to Cumming on Hwy 20 yesterday about 1:30pm when I saw going the other way a nice looking and fantastic sounding medium grey colored 330GTC that was being chased by a green Austin Mini. Not a new BMW fake mini.... a real old one. The 330 was getting on it.... nice to see! Terry
1. Saw a black 550/575 on Windward Pkwy right by GA 400 yesterday. 2. Saw a red F40 going up GA 400 (presumably a test drive from FOA??) - looked like he was getting on it.. Any more?
Saturday May 8th at a Restaurant called Kurts in Duluth between 11 am and 3 pm, saw 27 Ferraris(355's, TR's, BB, 308's & 328's), about 8 Lambos (2 Murci's, a Gallardo, couple of countachs and a plethora of Diablos), a couple of Lotus Esprits, too many Porches. Believe it or not ALL in the same parking lot. You'd think they were having a car show or something...... go figure ;^P JDAtlanta
What color was the 330 GTC? If it was a maroon color with the dual headlamps, it might have been Mr. Paris. His Ferrari was the first one I had driven. I met both Mr. Paris and his son, Mr. Paris and we talked about their Ferrari and it's great history. Hopefully they will be at this weekend's race, it would be good for everyone to meet them.
i saw a silver NSX today, on 78... Looked brand new, but i don't think it was... Not too familiar with them, but it looked like it had the older body style; i could be wrong, though... All i know is, it looked really nice... Two young dudes in it... When i passed them, i gave them the thumbs up and the dude in the passenger's seat nodded... Then, i look in my rearview mirror, i see them looking at my car (shields, bumper stickers, license plate frame) and they were laughing... Sheesh... i gets no respect.
My mistake, you are correct and he even stated what color it was, must have skipped over that. Sorry about that, still a great car.
Hey Carb, Finally clicked on your link. Guess I'm the last one to realize you've moved down to the big "A". As they used to say around here, Welcome South, Brother! Actually, that was the original slogan of what's currently WSB Radio (and now TV of course). Guess you can't say any longer that your job sucks. Mark
This was almost 3 weeks ago, but there was a red 512bbi at Road Atlanta's Drift Atlanta parked next to the skid pad. Anybody here or know it? I saw a black RT/10 squeel the tires at a stoplight and take off pretty hard last night in Auburn, AL. I wish I could have gone to that May 8th exotic car show. I am definitely going to Ferrari Challenge this weekend though!
I'd like to, but I kinda doubt I'll be able to make it. My weekends are almost always completely full with family and home related activities. More often than not, if I can get away, it's a last minute thing. I'm gonna try though.
