Well, I am truly offended that the North area with the highest post count in the Other Areas section has been over looked. Therefore I am declairing the Australian Section home to the North as well. I hope no Australians are offended, but we are just going to have to share! Any other Northeners or Aussies out there. Des? Wayne? Vincent? Where are you! I'm getting another beer and going under the car! Bill
No need to be offended, we are all here to share and enjoy. I am in Montana,USA and snow is coming down as we speak! A short drive in the 308 yesterday, and the 250 just pushed out the door and warmed up soon to be back in its warm home. Whats going on in Austrailia?
Hey Tyson, The Flossers are being a pain in the ass and I hope they freeze! Nothing worst than cranky sheep when the weather gets cold. Its really strange that about a week ago it was 70 Degrees and now it feels like its below zero!
Found you guys, whew! Those Australian guys sure are nice ! I posted a message in the north central area, but it's probably warmer down under. Vincent.
Hey Vincent, Welcome to the new North Down Under section. How's the property looking? Have you actually closed on it. From the picture you posed it looks very nice. Lets talk windows soon!
Dear Bill Welcome to the "downunder" North. Of course you must realise that as honorary Aussies, the following rules apply - 1. Only offensive comments permitted 2. Author of a thread buys beer for anyone that replies 3. It is mandatory to lie about HP, lap times etc. 4. If you are accurate in any of the information in Rule 3, Rule 2 applies. 5. If you ask a dumb question, Rule 2 applies. Welcome to "OZ" John
Alright, I like the land down under! Currently I'm following any rule that has to do with having a beer. And I'm assumiong the Aussies are alright with that. Bill, The property will close on the 24th. then I will apply for permits, but in the meantime I'm working on designs. Given the view I will need windows. Have you heard of a glass company called Cardinal? Vincent
Your scaring me. Australian beers are huge! They must cost a bundle, but when I'm in Australia the beers are on me! Bill
Vincent, Cardinal is one of the largest glass manufactures in the US. Most quality window manufactures use Cardinal Low-E glass. It's the cats pajamas! I sell Weather Shield, Eagle, Semco, Best Built, Milgard,Alpine, and Vision #2000. All of these manufactures use Cardinal Glass. Bill
Don't worry about Aircon - he's always offended and offending ;-) Not much ever goes on down here in Oz. Worse is all the speed cameras popping up all over the place.
Automatic quotes when you reply, this could get messy. The Aussies also make some pretty good wine, and it's affordable. Bill, I know the owner of Cardinal Glass, I didn't realize it was quite that big though. He has quite the wine collection and a nice tunnel . Vincent.
Vincent, You guy's have it sooo good. I want a tunnel!!!! That would be a perfect place to hide Ferrari's. Bill
Oi...i resemble that! Speaking of which, I saw a temporary speed camera set up in an 80kph road works area on the hume hwy yesterday. It's all getting a bit scary. We pulled up in a servo on the way home after sitting obediently on 110kph the whole way, and a guy in a commodore came up to me and said "thank you for allowing me to pass my first Ferrari"
Glassman I have been busy here recently and I wanted to check in with you.I,m not a big beer drinker myself but when I lived in Alice springs and Darwin a slab didn,t go to far I used to follow my mates around and instead of using GPS you would simply pop your head out of the window and look for the fresh beer can. If a guy carries a slab with him which equats to 24 cans you can follow him a long way down the road there usually about a half mile appart. www.srexoticautomotive .com Good on you mate!
Admiral .Translation (Servo) Gas Station. Always a thrill to see a Ferrari crusing on a good stretch of *****iman. Are there any stretches on the Hume where the speed limit is above 120kph? cheers Wayne Hynes.
I'm going to Montana next week on a business trip. Will be in Billings for 6 days. Driving in from WA on I-90 and flying home.
If you don't mind taking the Highway 12 cut to Helena I could meet you for lunch or something if the time frame works out. If you do you can continue East on 12 and hook back up to I-90 at Three Forks. It only puts you about 30 miles total ( as I recall ) out of the way. Bill
Mate I would love to but unfortunately I am travelling with another employee and he drives, I ride. That's why I get to fly home .. he has to go see all our big customers in the cities between Spokane & Billings on the way back from Mon 9th and gets hom on the Friday at the end of the week. Time will be short as well, particularly if the roads are snowy. Have to make it from Spokane to Billings which isn't too bad at 80, but if we're doing 40 it will take ages! Hopefully I will get to drive on a pleasure trip over there some time and we can catch up. I have never ever been in a Ferrari ... hehe
