you and kennyyellow360 should talk and hang out. Brigitte (southern california) the aluminum wall is too awful on that rim.
Don't mind the idea, just don't like the wheels for some reasons. Not quite sure why but IMO they cheapen the car ... But in the end it is you that matters, not me Pete
On a side note, what are all those stickers on the side of your front window? (ps, or is that just the way the light is reflecting?)
Umm... One is for road tax, which every car here in Hong Kong has to have, the rest are parking labels to access various car parks.
No problem matey! I'm expecting a "hostile" reaction from F-Chat anyways, which explains the "You're an idiot!" vote. I just wanted to try differentiate mine a little. FYI, NONE of the 10 or so friends of mine thought that it would be a good idea changing wheels and/or painting them black. However, they ALL like it now. The pictures might not be doing them justice either...
That's a shame IMO they take away a lot from the car. But I guess it's the how the rules work. The wheels wouldn't have been my first choice, mainly because I don't like black rims period. But like Pete said, it's your car.
I think it looks hot! i mean honestly there ar far to many 360's in HK, finally i see one with custom rims.. the only other one ive seen is the red one at carcity with hamann... i wish someone would put on a set of HRE's..
I like it, black wheels look more aggressive and I am sure that the pictures don't give the car justice !
Thanks guys! Hehehe... Funny you should mention that Tezta, but these are the ACTUAL RIMS from that red 360. He sold the car with the standard rims put back on, and I had Car City paint them for me to contrast solidly with the yellow. Yes, I would've liked some HREs too, but at US$8k a pop (and the shipping), I'd have to sleep in my 360.
lol... great so we still have just 1 360 with custom rims in HK btw 8K? no way man, standard HRE discounts are 20-25%.. Did you buy your car from car city?
u shouldnt really care what other people think about your car. as long as u like how it looks now....that's all that counts. BUT if you dont like how it looks urself...well, that is another issue.
Well, there is another yellow 360 which has 18" BBS LM rims on it which I went out for a drive with a couple of Sundays ago. Mine look MUCH better though... Yes, I did buy it from car city. I know them quite well, so it was offered to me without them ever having it on their website. 20%-25% standard discount? Didn't know that. Just saw the listed price and got scared. We should try and get together sometime, because if you like the car in pictures, you will LOVE it in real life!
To be honest, I wasn't 100% sure it would turn out as I hoped. However, after I had it done... well... I f'ing LOVE IT!!! The wheels really bring out the colour, and the whole car looks just that tiny bit meaner. I think the black works perfect with the lighter colours. This thread was started just to give people an idea of what they SHOULD or SHOULD NOT do to their 360. As many have said, I don't care what others think of it (but this does NOT mean I don't respect all your individual opinions). If you like it, cool. If you think its ricey, well, I eat rice on a daily basis out here. If you don't like it, too bad, but thanks for looking and providing your valuable input. Finally, if you think I'm an idiot... you're not the only one! Just my first F-Chat poll for a bit of fun.
Generally, I despise these colored rims gimmicks. But with yellow, the black wheels add something; the contrast perhaps. Enjoy! Forza, Cavallini
