Does anyone else think that F-Chat UK has lost some of its sparkle ? I have noticed that some of the real characters who used to contribute seem to have gone away or reduced the contribution they make. Perhaps I am just imagining it.

If any one agrees with me please post thoughts or comments here on how we might rejuvinate some of the topics or interest.

    regards
    James

    Cheers.... sorry we're so dull.

Probably summer hols, work pressure, novelty worn off?

Perhaps everyone's run out of things to say?

What we need is a good flame war. Or a name and shame episode. And It was good when steve328/275 was around.

By the way, having just sold my F50 I'm thinking of buying an Enzo or a 250GT California Spyder SWB. Can't make my mind up.... what are your views lads?

    Robert.

    Hi Robert

I am not saying that the current folks are dull but really wandering what has happened to people like Wazza etc. I was recently involved in a flame war and steve328/275 may very well still be around. I find myself logging on regularly and somehow less interested.

I'm not intending to have a pop at folks like yourself and others that are on F-chat simply wandering if any one else feels the way I do.

    regards
    James

I think you're right, James. There seems to be less activity currently. Perhaps a few more runs should be organised? Maybe things will pick up when Tony gets back from his hols; and as for Wazza, if people are interested I can get in touch with him - see what he's up to? I'd like to see how the formula V is running - perhaps we should have a run out to see our boy compete?

    Ben.

My ears are burning Joe :) Haven't you got yourself an F-car to play with yet?!

The main reason for me not visiting F-chat is holidays and clearing the usual backlog of work. I missed the Kent foc meet too.

Just catching up on a few hundred posts and ready for the next drive out!!

    Agreed,

It seems we are speaking less bollocks than we have in the past!

Someone should organise a driveout to keep the karma flowing, but it ain't likely to be me as I am without an Fcar at the moment, so I'd have to suggest, and cadge a ride in the same breath!

Ben, good idea. Find out when Waz is driving his Vee, and we can all stand at one corner and moon him as he comes by!

Isn't Robin doing his supercar run at the moment?

the reason fchat has lost its sparkle is that most of the people who use fchat have either a 355 or 360 as these are known as footballers cars so its easy to work it out its euro 2004 they are all training and have to be in bed early so they have no time to chat

I may not have been here long, nor able to contribute a great deal, but I do enjoy reading a lot of the posts in the UK section. steve f (ego enhancing time, Steve) in particular never fails to raise a smile.

To solve this, I think we should organise another ride-out. That should relight the support/passion/enthusiam for the site. I went for a blast around A2, Blue Water etc today - it would have been better with other F-chatters in toe for sure.

So any takers/ dates? It doesn't matter that Stig&Joe are between cars, plenty of passenger seats to be had!!
