We made it back... and in one piece...woo-hoo! 3500+ miles and the cars are running great... What a trip!! Thanks so much for your support and for those who showed up to the Renaissance Hotel, Bliss, and Catalina Landing. There are too many stories to tell and too many pictures to post... I have over 600 pictures and movies myself!! Here's a summary of our trip... Day 1: In NYC, met up with F-Chatters on the USS Intrepid, drove upstate toward Niagara falls, then down to Cleveland Day 2: Escorted out of cleveland by police and drove from Cleveland to the windy city Day 3: From Chicago, drove out to Kansas City Day 4: Left the Fairmont Hotel by police motorcade, went to Topeka (Heartland Raceway) to do some track driving...fun!!!... then drove down to Denver... "Hail is better than jail" was the motto we followed that day...more details to follow!! Day 5: Denver to Aspen via backroads and Independent Pass.... breath-taking!!! Oh, and I think Spiderman, Captain America, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, and SpongeBob were spotted, too!!! Day 6: Aspen to Vegas... Beautiful drive through Utah and Arizona... and entering Vegas like rockstars.... taking over the strip... that was a hoot. Day 7: After visiting the Shelby Museum, we were on our way home... but not w/o a flat tire incident in the 348 spider... Luckily the tow truck was close and Roland and the Go Fast Bus came to the rescue... quick stop in Barstow and we were on our way to the Renaissance... then party at Bliss! Day 8: Nice relaxing day in Catalina I'll post some pictures later on... Jeremy and JL both have some great footage, too... All in all, it was an amazing experience!!! Our German film crew, the playmate of the century, guest passengers, the local town people, and law enforcement made it even more memorable. It was certainly an experience of a lifetime and one that I will cherish forever. I shared lots of memories and made lots of new friends. For our "crew" - you guys rock!! (Diablo, F-40, 348 sp, 355 sp, my 456 GT, the film crew minivan and the Mini Cooper-S) More pictures and updates to follow... Cheers!! Byron

Congrats Byron, Jeremy, and JL for making it through this great event nearly problem free. Glad you guys had a great time. What a great way to break in the new car Byron! Hope to do it with my dad someday. Congrats again, David
Great to have you back Byron. We are all looking forward to you filling in the details of the stories you hinted at and seeing the pictures. Congratulations to being part of this adventure.
Byron, It sound like fun. Sorry I could not make it, I was in Montreal for 4 days of partys and the F1! Go Ferrari! Bob
Thread Hijack: Hi Bob, I briefly saw you in Montreal at the race, behind the gold grandstands on Friday (I think it was Friday). I tried to catch up to you, but the crowd was heading the opposite direction and you were walking like you were "on a mission"! Too bad we couldn't chat. Pretty good race though, and in my book, Montreal only comes second to Monaco for the F1 party experience and good time. -Kevin
Welcome back guys. Too bad I missed seeing you at the hotel on Friday. Get your rest now. We will catch up later.
I saw some of you guys on Rodeo on Sunday morning. 2 Red 360s, yellow Murcielago and a 348. Also, not sure if he was with you (no stickers) but a Porsche Carrera GT.
Hello Byron, Glad that you all had a great time during the Run. With the 456 you were at least with comfort not like some of us !!! It was nice to run with the FDC group, you guys are fun to be with and what about the costumes... See you soon, Roland F40LM
Howdy Udalmia, That was the best part of the Run : meet Chatters across the country. I did really appreciate that they took the time to stop by and talk with us. Thanks to all of you. Roland F40LM
