There is someone on here who bought his own Ferrari when he was 20. Thats quite an accomplishment! Im going to try and get mine before I turn 25.
I bought my first Porsche when I was 20 and I'm looking for my first Ferrari at 22. I'm trying to live in the fast lane but my Porsche can't get me there!
22 when i bought a second hand Dino 208 50/50 with a friend. 42 when, one month ago, i bough mine 328. Ciao Eugenio
youngest should be a clear cut winner...How about youngest to purchase his own? I know a kid who is in HS and his dad got him a Z06 and yellow Modena spyder. As for oldest...thats gonna be tough lot of candidates for that i am sure

As I stated, I did buy it myself with my own money. Its no modena, but one of the nicer examples of a mondial cabriolet. As for that HS kid you were talking about, its unlikely you'll find people like that on this sight. People who have stuff handed to them like that never seem to appriciate it.
Quote: "MONDIAL85, HOW DID YOU DO IT!!!!????!! I am 16 and I would love to think I could own a Ferrari by 20!" Started my own landscaping business and got a reputation for doing a great job and being honest. I would have bought my Fcar sooner but I had heard that ferrari's were expensive to own so I waited until I had a huge savings (enough to match the purchase price of the car) before I bought it. Ive had it about 8 months now and have spent less than $200. I guess I should be thankful but when I think of that extra year I could have been driving in my car with the top down...awww
Have not seen him around here in awhile, but BretM got his Ferrari at 18 or slightly younger with his own money. Like Rob F, I know a couple people who have given Modenas to their kids.
What sort of people are these who buy large gifts like this for their kids? Also, if you know any, what are the kids themselves like? Rocking up to high school in a car like that which was simply given to you paints are rather interesting scenario.
Bought my first my self for my 23 birthday about a year and a half ago. I parted out a lexus sc400 and bought a 95 355.
there was a thread here last year on this topic - the oldest seems to be Martin - now 70 with his new 575 previously a 360 owner -congrats and Bret who does not visit as much any more - he bought his own 85 308 at age 17 I beleive.
