Those kick ass! <looks at plain white Bell M3... looks at paint... > And now the obligatory SpaceBalls quote!: "I bet she gives great helmet!" Best! Ben.
Wazza, beautiful helmets you got there, great work! Love that piggy rampante... My Irvine helmet is in my Avatar and my Schumacher helmet is undergoing some more changes to make it more authentic. Stay tuned.
When I figure out how to make it less pixles, I'll do it. It's a Arai Kevlar, painted in Red Bull Style (a copy of Hopkin's helmet). $4000.00! Art
Love the paint jobs wazza! Here's two of mine. F1GP (modified for breathing assistance!) and an F1 (which is for sale on ferrariads.com without the amber lense) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is the rear section of my MS replica helmet, still working on the front part. The cavallo rampante and the Marlboro logos are courtesy of Mike Charness, a true helmet artist in his own right.
Wazza: Can you post contact information about who did your helmet? I too have a flag type theme that I'd like made and the flag treatment on your helmet is the closest I've yet seen to what I am visualizing. Given your location is London, I may not be able to make it work from California, but at least it's worth a try. Thanks. Alberto
Alberto, I don't know the name of the actual painter I just took the helmet into the shop along with design and they took care of the rest. I had all ready seen some of the other helmets they had done for some pretty famous racers. Pretty impressive. You can find thier contact details on the web site below http://www.grandpri.com/cgi-bin/grandpri.storefront Or contarct Nick directly at the Chiswick, London shop on +44-20-8987 9999. Mention my name Warren Smith Good Luck Wazza
