just incase no one knew, there is a ferrari dealership near dulles next to duless carmax. Its called Ferrari of Washington they have alot there, currently they have one of the only 3 yellow ferrari f50s imported to the us and much more check it out here http://www.fwash.com/
Ferrari of Washington also has a (hopefully) internationaly known GT class car that runs many races and wins alot too. I saw the car race up at VIR this past year, it was music to my ears! (they won)
I stopped in for the first time before the holidays. Even though I was just gawking they treated me like a valued customer, told me about their operation, the cars, the race team, etc. and offered to let me sit in any cars I wanted to. Kudos!
Now would be a great time to bring your Ferrari or Maserati in to Ferrari of Washington for its annual service during these cold winter months, so that it will be ready once the temperatures rise. Call Josh Simpson at 703.478.3606 to schedule an appointment.
Nope, my name is Willie Mack, I am the Maserati Service Advisor for Ferrari of Washington. I work along side Josh.
Hey Willie, glad to see you on fchat. Say hello to Josh for me. We're figuring out the Mas nav system! Will
Question: Is the Ferrari shop still in Arlington, VA? In '87 or '88 I used to live less than 100 yards away... Behind the shop was an old-school Coca-Cola vending machine. Around midnight, I'd put nothing but nickels in there. Why? The nickel bin would overflow, I'd hit the jackpot and in the process - get a couple of free cokes. Then go window-shop the "gift horse" (if you will). Rinse and repeat every once in a while.
No longer in Arlington. I remember seeing an F40, behind velvet ropes, in the old dealership - American Service Center, right? Anyway, the dealership changed hands long ago and the dealership now is located in beautiful new digs on Route 28 a couple miles off the Dulles Access Road (near Dulles Airport, more or less). Great cars, great people. And there's a soda machine inside, but I haven't tried my luck with it.
and i still have the question will they let you sit in a ferrari if you ask them? will they also let you in the garage if you ask them? and what happened to the yellow f-50?
The yellow F50 was not for sale. Supposively the dealership was holding on to the car for a client while he went through a divorce.
Latrobe - isn't that where Rolling Rock is brewed? Does a case of RR fit in an F50? how about a 6-pack? Does Ferrari make a Schedoni leather case for a 6-pack? and if not, why not? really bored minds want to know
Ferrari of Washington has a website www.fwash.com They try to keep it up to date, with what cars are in the showroom.
"will anyone let me sit in a ferrari?" You can always sit in the one you buy. Seriously, though, join the FCA, attend the Summit Point track events and other events, in my experience many Ferrari owners are very generous with their time and enthusiasm, and you'll end up in a car. It's all about getting to know people.
some of the cars that they are selling are in the garage insted of the showroom. thry should try to fit all of them in. another thought I noticed that the silver 360 modena has been there for a long time are they going to lower the price because of this?
