Ok, So I work at a racewear supplier. Anyone else got a Ferrari inspired Helmet Design or racesuit. I know I have had some helmets painted for drivers. They must be out there! Have attatched mine below. Based from the best Ferrari Driver of all time. Jean Alesi for the Spare seat in 2006......You know it makes sense! Ed

Well, mine is more sportscar inspired than F1, but I've used it for the Texaco Grand Prix of Houston as well as The Mayor's Cup races these past six years. It's getting a little grimy, but Simpson says they'll spiff it up for me. I was heartened to see a pic of Mario Andretti's early career, and he had a grimy suit, too! As I met the CART drivers, I let any with Ferrari experience sign the back. Mario Andretti and Max Pappis. I did let Kenny Brack, Bobby Rahal, and Christiano De Matta sign the rear wing of my car, for luck! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those are 3.5HP carts we use for our charity racing series, here in Houston. They let us race on the full size CART track all four years of the event. I won from the pole in '98, had the pole again in '99 but had tech problems. Finished fourth in '01, right after 9/11/01. We get to keep the carts, they are stacking up in my gf's garage! The kids love 'em though. We put 'em in the front yard for F1 watching parties! As you see, they have wings and stuff that really break if you hit a competitor. Realistic, huh? I really smashed one over in Louisiana last year. It's in the body shop now!
It WAS a once in a lifetime experience. I was invited to consult on the design and install on the track. Met some great folks with Newmann/Haas and the Milwaukee Mile. My fee bought my Ferrari, and then to get Pole Position and win was unreal! My dad had recently passed away, proving my theory that the worse off things are in your life, the better things go in the race!
