My grand niece is graduating early and she wants me to haul all of her stuff to Lousiana where she's going to go to college. She's going to work there this summer. She wants me to take the 348, so I'm trying to figure out the trailer hitch set up for one of those smaller U-haul trailers.

I went to Midas and they wanted something like $270 to weld a hitch on. That sounds kind of high to me. Any other options on hitches that you guys know of?

Just tie a used tire to your front bumper & push a trailer loaded with her stuff... like a tug boat!

no offence or anything but why would you do that to a 348 or a sports car for that matter

Different Ferrari. I retrofitted a U-haul hitch on that one for about $100. But the bumper seemed different on that. I'm trying not to scratch this bumper or anything.

Is Husker SERIOUS? I thought this was a joke thread, hence my first post.

If you are serious, then please think about renting a uHaul & putting the 348 on a trailer behind it - or drive her up in the 348, and have someone drive a moving van up there with her stuff.

I take a lot of grief from people about being from the south, so I've been thinking about fitting a receiver hitch and a gunrack to my 348. The hitch would be handy for towing a kart, and why not. I'll be interested in seeing what you do. Good luck!

Pls check the market for "rent a van"

I am sure u can get nice price and do not have to bother with that other stuff.

Should you however, proceed with your thougts pls do not forget to take some pictures of the 348 + trailer.

Could be a lot of fun!

    Good Luck,

When I lived in Florida, I was amazed that almost every car on the road had a hitch. Geo Metro, Nissan Z... it didn't matter. Culture clash I guess. To each his own. Hope I didn't offend a 348 brother.

    Okay your guys are WACK!

You don't tow a trailer with a Ferrari. That's like wearing track spikes with a business suit.

If someone were to add a hitch to a Ferrari, they should also consider bringing along a good set of tools with a spare clutch. :)

If someone were to add a hitch to a Ferrari, their next of kin should immediately and without delay pack the person off to the nearest padded room (no offence to anyone who may have done it, but c'mon..... ) :D :D

I think the whole concept of a Ferrari towing something is beyond me but the F40 and the bike rack is really sick
