I've enjoyed the site as well and it is great for learning the stats...
Although I have been to the site a dozen times, I have never saw where to add my 88 5000QV to the list?? I haven't looked real hard either. Care to share

Countach in action! This thread could use a lot more pictures of these cars on the move. One of the best pics posted yet.

Great pics Brian, thanks. Even when I was driving one of my previous Countach I sometimes wished that I could be one of the other drivers watching it go down the road. My wife followed me home from Exoticars USA a couple of times after picking one up from service. She gained a whole new appreciation for the beauty of these cars during those 3-4 hour drives, as well as a front row seat to the crazy s#&t other drivers would do just to get next to it.

    Do you know this one:

It was done in France in the 80's: I like it quite a lot.

It is Francine Ciclet on the postcard, wife of Edmond Ciclet, one of the foremost vintage Lamborghini experts in the world. He was at one time the actual importr for France when things were dire for the factory.
They gave me this when I stayed at their home in remote western France a year ago: quite a treasure trove:)

    Best regards,

    Marc

  13. That's a funny picture. I weighed my rear wheel a while back, I think it was close to 50 lbs!

Yes! If I was a girl and had a Countach puncture I would just show some leg and wait for a gallant gentleman to stop and change it: shouldn't take too long:)

Disgraceful that a lady should be made to change her own tire. Where are the gentlemen?

Hey Marc I saw that drive you made in the "Breadvan" recently (no folks, he is not a baker) - very inspired!

Thank you, coming from an esteemed colleague it is much appreciated. Well Joe as you well know the more intense the car, specially those with several Webers and barely any silencers the easier it is to hotwire one's synapses and get inspiration!

    Marc

Rest assured that I personally have a deep appreciation for Megaphone pipes which extrude from red cars from Maranello :)

    :)

Here is the periscope that I photographed in September of last year at Porrentruy Affolter, don't know the #. It was not in the showroom but next door in the collection of the Frei family, which is probably one of the finest early Lambo collections anywhere (they had Lamborgaudis too, I think they own the dealership), it is housed in a locked area which was opened for me after I contacted the Frei's in advance. The showroom iself (not shown) was massive I must say, impressive. They do service for a lot of French new car owners who have factories and such just across the border.

    best regards,

    Marc
