Alex- The Novitec NF2s are 9x19 ET 28 F and 12.5x19 ET 51 R. They fit 550s and 575Ms with no spacers in front and 25mm or 30mm spacers in the rear (Hill Engineering Type 2 or equivalent). Tire size in front is the same as those for the 19" factory modulars, 255/35 19 and the rears are 355/25 19. The 355/25 19s are a little smaller in diameter (25.99" vs 26.20") than the OEM 305/30 19s, which are too narrow for 12.5" wide wheels. The only current tires in both those sizes are Pirelli PZero Rosso Assymetrics. The fitment for the 456 is the same, except most owners have only used 15mm Type 1 spacers with longer wheel bolts on the rear. Jason Godsil of our sponsor Exotica is the best source for the wheels at ~$6200/set, shipped directly from Germany. List price is considerably higher. Bill- My tires should be fitted on Friday and my car will also be in for its annual oil, transmission oil, brake/clutch fluid, and cabin filter change. The carbon fiber door sills and radio surround will also be fitted then. Photos soon afterwards, although the new center caps are backordered, so it may be a week or so for those. Ketel- Gary ordered a new 458 so his manual shifter 575M is available again. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It has all the options except HGTC. It even has most of the HGTC ECUs and shocks. Fully documented with window sticker, three fobs and PIN, tool kit, jack kit, battery charger kit, covers, new tires, TPMS sensors (working) and service. It has actually been overserviced with a 3 year belt change two years ago. Gary even has a goodie kit that goes with it including a sales brochure, etc, etc. Taz Terry Phillips
Thanks Terry, With a pair of wider rear wheels fit with wider tires 305 vs 355. I wonder and surely love to know how does it drives? Cause, when I drive mine with 305 wide rear tires, often on low gears like 1st and 2nd sometimes 3rd, I get lots of wheel spin and ASR active frequently press gas pedal a little soon and deep. Does your 355 wider tires help with the wheel spin? And with the heavier wheels plus bigger tires, does it effect the straight line accelaration? Thanks... Alex

Terry - Yes, I know of Gary's car and I agree with everything you say. Near perfect in terms of options, condition and as far as a color combo goes. Unfortunately, it's a bit too much of a stretch for me price-wise. Nothing against Gary, but I wouldn't want to waste his time if he was still holding out for $135k or whatever it was last time he had it listed. ketel
It's $127,500 asking with lots of interest at $120k. It wil be sold within the week. Market for prime, unmolested examples is stronger than past 2 years.
Ketel- You are crossing your feet to save bullets if you do not buy Gary's car. It is just what you want and, like Gary said, will not be around for long. Plus, then you can lord it over everybody here except the few HGTC owners. They, obviously, own the ultimate 575M/SA cars, but very few have a manual shifter gearbox. Alex- Your 575M has 434 ft lbs of torque. The two 7 liter Z06 Corvettes I owned had not much more at 470 ft lbs. Plus the 575M is geared like a drag racer. Overall ratio in 1st gear is 12.325:1, and 2nd is 8.506:1. A Z06 has ratios of 9.097:1 in 1st and 6.088 in 2nd. To make the car even more spin happy, the 575M (with 19" modulars) has 305/30 19" rear tires on 10.5x19 rear wheels vs the Z06's 325/30 19 tires on 12x19 wheels. No wonder you get tire spin in 1st and 2nd. 2nd in the 575m is equivalent to 1st in the Z06 when tire diameter is considered. My heavier, wider wheels are being offset by the MovIt ceramic 396x40mm F and 380x32mm R billet caliper ceramic brakes I just ordered. They weigh ~50% of the steel/cast iron brake weights and provide much superior braking. Plus MovIt rotors are made of carbon silicon carbide and will last way longer than the life of the car. Pretty, too, and mine will be in yellow to go with my red paint. The calipers will, of course, say Ferrari in black on the sides. That means some lucky owner will inherit my red caliper FHP brakes, complete with four extra rotors and a full extra set of factory FHP pads with wear sensor wires. Taz Terry Phillips

Bill- Affirmative. They were available on the 550 as well and are bolt ons. Henry- Will ask my guys to do that. The MovIt brakes I am getting are their third generation ceramics, and are even cross drilled. Far superior in quality and performance to the Brembo CCMs. Will be a six month process since I cannot afford to pay for everything at once. Paid the first installment today. Price is high, but way less than the OEM CCMs. The Euro is dropping like a rock, too, which is helping. Bill, Henry- Those are not the good calipers like the ones I am getting, either. Here are what those look like with first generation ceramic rotors. Plus some photos of the billet calipers with steel rotors. On the MovIts, you can buy calipers with steel rotors and pads, and to upgrade later, all you need to buy are the ceramic rotors and pads. The rotors and pads are expensive, naturally, but you can do the change-over in stages so it is affordable. You can also run front ceramics and rear steel rotors, and their fronts are compatible with factory rear brakes.
