It may be real but that image of the 458 looks very strange. Especially from the windshield forward... CH
If you click on the picture to get the full size image it looks very real to me, you can clearly see bits of tape around the front grill. The pic has been tweeted on ALMS official twitter feed and Factory affiliated driver Pierre Kaffer has been identified as being behind the wheel.
Proper mirrors. What the 458 has been lacking. This thing is epic! Maybe a few less scoops on the hood but I know, function over form. Can't wait to see/hear this thing in action! Sebring debut in March???
Its about as epic as a beautifull woman with no head and holes in her body............. The front end is shorter, there are holes all over it....the proportion are ruined....
this makes me salivate at the anticipation of the Scud/CS version of this car. It will be epic if it adopts some of the NACA ducts and venting.
Looks a little retro. Awful lot of Dino 246 NART in the front area, not that thats a bad thing!! Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago March 19th 2011 Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's just the foreshortening from the telephoto lens making the front look shorter - same proportions. Could do with nicer rims, but they're probably just using the 3-piece wheels to try different offsets - I hope. Does look very 80's with those, though! Fender flares could have been better blended, but these minimize the cross-section increase.
My take is there are some elements from the 288 GTO in here. Not enough holes to be from the Evoluzione. Am sure this will end up as DLC for Forza, which makes me very happy.
