One countach was displayed in the garage, red with a wing, and the last countach arrived after the video was made, also red with a wing. Anyone have a photo of the last countach to show up and park center field? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Haroon, I appreciate all the positive sentiments, really. Ive been asked for interior shots but wont get to a full photo-shoot for a couple of weeks, so for the meantime these will have to do. Roy, the car has been accepted in the Supercar Class at the Quail Motor-sports event at Quail Lodge in August. It will be available after that.
Joe: Did you use any special light bulbs in your gauges? They look so nice and bright. Maybe the Stewart Warner gauges on the older Countach's are much more efficient than the Jaeger units on the later 5000S and 5000QV cars? Car looks stunning! Mike
"Forse originali, le targhe, ma non contemporanee..." Maybe real license plates, but impossible that a Countach of that year could bear them. This series of fully white over black plates did stop in 1975. In 1976 started a new series w/ the orange/black left tab bearing the Province code. I can post pics if needed. That series ended in 1985. If you do need infos about worldwide license plates, pls just ask.
Mario's garage (not in video) has a DD with wing (car 21) and a late commer (car 22 not in this video) had the wing too
We put these on the car just for fun, because it was a Rome-delivered car. I found them with the help of a nice contact who supplied them.
