Nice car, we need comparisons with your GTS. Actually, we need comparisons with my QV GTS since they are closer to the same vintage. Hmm, I see a trip to south GA in my future...

Looks good. I didn't think 85s still had the black engine covers. When was it made? What is that antenna for?

dunno about the antenna. radio??? the other 5 cars i looked at seemed to have the exact same one mounted on the forward side of the roof line facing aft.

i think i want to put a wing on it, but drilling holes in "MY LAMBORGHINI" is not near as much fun as drilling holes in other peoples airplanes
    * with approved data of course !! *

just got pics of the data plates ........

I saw Gary's car this past April and he talked with Tillman and I about it. It was a very clean car and looked like the best 20yr old Lambo I've seen yet.

    Congratulations!

Good going Michael. I always liked Jalpas. Looks like a nice one. Please post some unbiased driving impressions, once you have some seat time in it.

For shipping, check out Horseless Carriage. www.horselesscarriage.com

Not the cheapest, but they are good, insured, all that crap.

    Good luck with it,
    John

Wait a minute. Did I read that right? You are selling the Urraccio already?? Pretty soon you might as well just hang a shingle and car yourself a used exotic dealer!

Congrats on the second lambo this month! Can I be rude and ask what it cost you? (You can PM me if you don't want to broadcast it).

A few months ago, totally out of the blue, I found a local guy who also has/had a Jalpa. I never actually saw it because I figured the price was out of my league even if it was for sale. What are they going for these days?

i am giving it to a friend towards his Lotus Turbo, or we may just settle up. i need less seats and more power. the Jalpa should be more car than my GTB was, and it was a nice one. no slight against ferrari, i am moving up in power in little bits and then i will start going for the 12 cylinder cars. the urraco taught me much about lambo's, the Jalpa is a decendant of the URRACO.

as far as the price, gary and i have an agreement. he is persuing his own cool Lambo purchase to replace the Jalpa. he had to act this week or he was going to loose the other car. he made me a deal i could not refuse given all the documented work that has been done on this car. we have agreed not to discuss with anyone, anytime what the car sold for. :) :) :) no offense and none taken.

Jalpa is a nice driving car. I really like the chassis, I think it's better than the 308 in that way but there is no question in my mind that the motor in the Ferrari is more rugged.

Looks like a very good example.
