Does anyone know the caster , toe in settings for the rear of a 1995 355. Also if the info is available what is the methodology for setting them .. We just had some work done on it and once it was recieved back it wore off the insides of both rear tires in less than 200 miles. The tires had about 25% tread left prior to that with relatively even tire wear across the face of the tire. TYIA
Factory 355 suspension settings: camber, toe, caster, Front -50'+- 10' , 2.5+- 0.5mm , 5 degrees +-15' (power steering) Rear -2 degrees+-10' , 2.5+- 0.5mm , 5 degrees +-15'
TY for the great info ... is the caster & camber adjustable on the rear and if so how? I only had an opportunity to take a quick look under there and it didn't look like there was adjustments on the control arms .. The top forward mounting point of the upper one did look like it had a place for shims or the likes.
According to the workshop manual, only camber and toe are adjustable on the rear. The 355 WSM is available here: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/articles.php?tPath=7 You will note it is in three sections. Alignment specs and instructions are in section 2.
