No for me......he has it listed as a 27,000 mile car, but the one picture shows the car having 43,045 miles. I don't like the painted rims and the interior looks rough with one of the fan dials missing at $500.00 apiece. I would also like to know why the picture showing the vin plate is blurred. This is one car I would have to see in person.

I'd ask why it has the wrong wheels for an 87. 88.5 they added ABS and the convex (mondial style) wheels. Personally I don't care for the painted top on the 328 nor the painted rear spoiler. but thats just me.

It supposedly had a recent service at algar, I'd check with them to get the full history on the car. There could be more than meets the eye to the car.

Is it possible that the odometer is in kilos?

    Good luck with your search.

As mentioned before, the mileage difference is worrying. Also, no engine pics -- wonder why?

The interior shots show a missing fan control, some sort of add-on piece below the AC vent, and seems a bit dirty for sales pics. I don't know what that white dot is behind the shifter -- velcro maybe?

No doubt someone spent money on the euro mods (and I like them quite a bit), but they're going to make resale a lot tougher. Personally I like painted tops, so that's not a negative in my eyes. The painted roof spoiler is not pretty.

Wheels are just 88.5+ stockers painted black. Nothing special and certainly not worth anything additional. You may want to see if the original wheels and shift knob are available. Again, resale reasons.

Aftermarket speakers in the doors, they cut the panels to put those in.

AC 'not tested' means it's not working. Figure a couple grand to fix it.

This looks to be a decent driver 328 if it clears PPI, but I wouldn't go much more than 38K-41K for it personally.

You may want to post in the FL and NY areas to see if anyone knows the car.

You are correct I miss read the part explaining the differance, but I still wouldn't buy without seeing in person or having a PPI. I would not give the buy it now price of $43,000. To me this car is worth around $38,000.

Ok, I don't get the KM thing.

The car is a US car, the X in the VIN shows that. The seller claims it's been in FL since new. Why would it have a KM odometer? Another part of the 'euro conversion?' Pretty unlikely in my mind.

Can anyone read the VIN on the tag? http://members.aol.com/lma5479/32815.jpg

Why does the advertisement have so much text? Seems to me like they are attempting to bury any bad news in a mountain of information as a way to protect themselves. Later they can say "no we told you about that problem right here, paragraph 67, line 12, didn't you read the ad description?". Anyone looking to buy a Ferrari 328 either knows 90% of the information they provided or they can easily look it up. Bidding is already up to $1500.00.

Actually, they copied and pasted it all from the Ferrari USA web site. But plagiarism probably isn't the biggest problem here.

The blurred build plate photo is just scary. The adjacent photos are reasonably sharp.

    Run.

It has Euro side mirrors. Odometer is Km. Let's see picture of vin and or engine. Check for cats.

If it is euro model make sure it has dot/epa release.
