Hi Everyone. . I have to change my spark plugs on the V12 monster.. The user manual and the current ones on it are Champian A 59GC with 0.6-0.7 mm gap. Is everyone happy with this brand name.. I see NGK has also part tht should fit this.. I am just not too knowledgeable about this.. Please send me your thoughts and I appreciate telling me what price you normally pay for these. . Thanks Hakan 1997 456GT
Hakan, Champion, Bosch or NGK are good brands. Stick with the stock plugs or one of the other two brands of equivalent grade. Do not mess around with the grade if you want to avoid unpleasant surprises. Saluti,
Not planning on messin around with grade but I keep hearing different reviews about Champion.. some are suggesting NGK over Champion.. just wanted to get ideas about that. . thanks for reply though
Champions were the cause of many rough idle complaints. Throwing them away and replacing with NGK never raised a question from Ferrari. Champion Spark Plugs, another once great product.
Thanks for the reply.. has anyone idea how I can find the exact part component number for NGK to replace Champion A 59GC
I strongly recommend the NGK iridium plugs over the Champions. In my Diablo 6.0 (same plug), the NGKs solved a number of poor idle/ignition problems that the Champions were the source of. I have a couple of spares in my garage, if you can't find the NGK part number, LMK and I'll post it here.
