Do you think that they went from molten metal to a finished car in one day? ;)

I understand the need to sometimes pick a single day for such a spec, but it would've been better if they had called it "Date final assembly completed" or something like that IMO.

    Happy Birthday 10688!

Are those still available w/o going the Classiche route? I'd like one for my 308.

Yes, you can get them without having your car Classiche Certified. Its free, but supposedly they are only doing them for cars up through the 1980 Carb cars. However, a few people like Bullfighter and I have gotten them for our later cars, I guess we just got them before they became more strict about not doing them for newer cars.

If they won't do that for your car because its newer, contact the Classiche Dept. of Ferrari NA in NJ. For around $300 they will give you something similar but with a few extra details. I have the free one/Heritage Cert and the one that I paid for, as the free one did not have some information I was seeking.

    Best regards,
    Dino

Thanks. I'll start at the Owner's Site and see what happens.

I got the HC and Buildsheets for my 330 2+2 free back in the good ole days...2003...but alas, no more.

I was seeking more information about the interior of the car, as mine has a red leather dashboard, which is original. I needed some documentation from Ferrari for when I show the car as I don't have the window sticker. The document from the Classiche Department, included the interior color, carpet color, dashboard color, dealer it was delivered to, month of delivery, and exterior color (there may be one or two other things I'm forgetting since I don't have the document in front of me.

    Best regards,
    Dino

    Congrats!

Mine's down right young at 25, and about 36,000 s/n's higher.

Oh well, I did have a sub-10K s/n for awhile.

It's in the historic archive section of the classiche section, I think.
