I guess 'tis the season' for new products at Ricambi America!

In the past, we have sold several sets of OEM F430 Challenge shift paddles. The paddles are longer than the stock ones, and improve paddle accessibility when the wheel is rotated (and more applicable to street driving, when the drivers hands are not exactly at 9 and 3 o'clock on the wheel). The stock F430 Challenge ones however are frightfully expensive and made from a fairly mundane/boring aluminum.

If you want the F430 Challenge functionality, but desire something that looks more polished in the cockpit, we are proud to now offer Carbonio Extended Length F1 Paddles

I have been so impressed with the quality of Carbonio pieces and the real pleasure of dealing with Carbonio on a B2B level, that we're working hard to bring their entire catalog of carbon pieces into our inventory. It'll take a while, but for now I just love the items we've received thus far, and I'm pretty sure you will too.

they look good - easy to install??

I can't for the life of me figure out why the paddles don't turn w/ the steering wheel - like my M5 does - can anyone answer this?

I highly recommend these paddles. The stock Scuderia (and F430) paddles are hard to find, it was the feedback from two friends and mine as well driving my own car.

The challenge paddles make shifting a lot easier. Mine are Aluminum Challenge paddles, but the Carbonio pieces are way better looking.

Its a matter of preference I guess. We have them here in stock. They are really really beautiful. I';d be happy to send them to you, and if you don't like them, return for a full refund. Just don't install, scratch, or otherwise mess them up. But no problem if you'd like to hold them and compare the CF work to your F430 carbon package to see if you like the appearance.

As far as the paddles not turning with the steering wheel, the thinking is that it is easier to locate the paddles when they are in a fixed position if making rapid steering inputs.

I can't for the life of me figure out why BMW has the paddles attached to the steering wheel. I far prefer my paddles staying in the same place at all times so that I know exactly where they are at all times. Personal preference as far as the consumer is concerned. Why the manufacturers choose different setups.....I don't know. I feel like I may have seen a thread (or part of a thread) on F-Chat about this before.

Some times in the track or tricky out of the city roads it is easy to miss a shift when the st wheel turns more than normal ,this has happened to me some times.

I have CF OEM paddles and the finish is not very good, I also noticed this in a friends scud the cf has little holes but the most important is that the ones from Daniel are longer and that will make a big difference...

I am going to do my letter to Santa Ricambi and hope I get a set the 25th!!
