That is one hot mirror. The only thing that would look cooler would Be the sexy white 308 in the reflection. I really like that 308 in white. Nice car!!
I guess you missed the Murcielago Roadster earlier in the day. I agree that the black countach was very nice and second best non-Ferrari at the show just behind the Porsche DP race car.
Id pretty much say most of the non fcars outshined the Ferraris at the show. And yes, the murci would have been top dog if it hadnt of left before we got there.
Sorry that line should have followed with a . There were many fine cars at the show and as far as outshinning the Ferraris came out in support of a Porsche club event and had a great showing, and also came away with a few awards, a Daytona Spider and a 246 Dino both walked away with high honors. Of course Drew's Countach was amazing, I have never seen a Countach in that good of condition, the car was flawless and obviously took away top prize in it's class. This was a very fair show judged on cleanliness and presentation, the judges were from various clubs with the criteria dictated by the Porsche club. I still think my 308 looked great and with it's many flaws stood out to me as one of the best cars there, results aside Allan, Glad to have you back in town.
Haha, well who in their right mind wouldnt think their own car was a standout? Good to be back in town, you should look into the www.scottsdaleexoticcarclub.com We just took a nice drive with a few very nice cars. BUT PLEASE, if you are going to go with us, do not drive like the 2 Ferrari guys that came along, who were always driving 20 mph UNDER the speedlimit.
Dino I guess you did not go on that drive!!! They do not know you very well do they.It could be your time to shine To me the black Daytona Spyder was best of show. The silver 308 is very close though.
a Daytona? Ewwww why? And a 308? Inmo, if a 308 was to come out of a time machine looking as pristine as it did the day it were made, it would win best of nothing.
Another completely objective and unbiased opinion from Alan Lambo. I guess things are slow over at ********** or Ferrari bashing is just more fun over here.
Tractors. All of that racing pedigree makes them all the more attractive. And, all of Furruccio's experience with oil burners was of great help with his auto motors as well. Play to your strengths. The air conditioning units I can appreciate though, living in AZ.
Ahhh yes, Ferrari's brilliant engineering went full strength into those 308's and Mondials. In their day they were MEDIOCRE at best, in todays world, outrun, outbraked, and outhandled by moms in minivans. And yes, I had 308's and 328's when they were considered cool, almost 18 years ago. And an F40 owner calling anything a kit car is funny. I give the F40 props, but in todays world, nothing looks more kit car, than an F40.
