Wow, what an event! Great turnout with 60+ cars, mostly from the 308 era up through the 430s with some amazing pristine (obviously) 430 Spiders. This was held at Jack Queen's ranch in Rancho Santa Fe. There were plenty of cars there that had really been driven, including a 100,000km 308. Judging was designed as more of a "clean car contest" than a white-glove-up-the-tailpipe deal, and the V8s dominated the entrant list - a few TRs and a stunning black/tan Boxer, but otherwise relatively few 12's in attendance.

I ended up taking second in the 308/328 class to a simply incredible red/tan '89 GTS.

The only downside in all of this is that you'll have to put up with my crappy photographic skills, which really don't do justice to this event. As a newer FOC member, I'd encourage EVERYONE to attend. I had an amazing time. Great food, and I met a bunch of guys who could talk cars for hours. What else is there!!!

They put down fresh mulch in the arena so it wasn't too bad, but for those of us with black cars it was kind of an "oh, crap..." moment.

Meguiars and Griots gave away spray detailing samples - maybe there was a method to all of this...

Here are a few more. The photos don't do justice to the Boxer. The black 512TR was just stellar.

Jon, can you post the pic of the yellow Gallardo and the Murci? I'd swear that is the one-off Zagato bodied 575 GTZ sandwiched between them...

Thanks for posting the pics of the 575 GTZ omgjon - I am really kicking myself for not attending (other priorities) - it is stunning. I thought a Japanese collector had commissioned it - does anybody know the story of how it wound up at Jack's place?

    Thanks Jon...see you there.

Including the offerings from SD Ferrari, Symbolic, and the ones near the front of the home, we had a total of 94 Ferraris.
