long video but gives you a good feeling in the end http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8613431240341347407&q=hicks+-v-+bmw
LOL +1 on the CCW. Although I think he could of handled the situation a little better. Taunting some road rager is never a great idea. He probably should of called the cops if he thought his life was in such danger that he needed to pull a gun. But it looked like he was out in the sticks, so it could of been an hour before the cops showed. He executed a little street justice and it worked. If one of the hicks had a gun also, it could of got messy.
Definitely an entertaining video. However, I have some reservations on the authenticity of it. I can't pinpoint anything specifically as to why I think it's fake; it's just a feeling I have. Although, if it IS real, the Z4 driver had some balls (or stupidity, take your pick) to take him to the end of a dead end and challenge him. Like BOG said, if the hicks had a gun... the situation would have gotten a lot more serious.
1) Hicks don't drive brand new Toyota Tacomas 2) Hicks have guns in the beds of their trucks, not bats 3) Those were very stereotypical "red necks." I.e. wife beater on one guy and suspenders on the other. Looked very fake imo. P.S. Do hicks even know what a camcorder is let alone have one?
Hicks drive around in very old and rusty nasty ford pickup trucks and have a shotgun hanging on the rear window. Also they usally have a name for that gun to.
I agree, it looks to be staged. If was real I think it would have played out much worse & not brodcasted all over the net.
I have a feeling it was all staged too. They had to go out in the middle of nowhere to film the gun scene because filming something like that along the side of the road wouldn't fly with passers by. The actions of the parties involved didn't reflect real point-of-a-gun scenarios.
I don't care what anyone says about Tom Cruise. I still like his movies for just entertainment when I need it!
I thought it looked real, call me Duh but whats a Hick, is it another meaning of hillbillies or similar?
Well we can all point out the peculiarities til w'ere blue in the face but the fact is, no one can officially deem it fake without solid proof. Either way that was hilarious!
It's a fake; wrong accent, clothes, and attitude. As others have pointed out; stupid to mess with people who are probably armed. I have a hick friend who was driving in his Ford pick-up, at night, to see his mom. At a stop sign, three teens got around the front of the truck and then tried to open the doors. As any good red-neck would, he got the ax handle from behind the seat, got out and put teeth on the street. They ran, which was smart since he always has a .45 and would use it. Lesson: don't mess with a hick who has a US Marine Corps sticker on his pick-up. (True Story)
Does seem fake, but entertaining. I can't stand white trash myself. There is so much of it in my ****ty home town of Port St. Lucie. I'm so glad I'm in Gainesville. It never fails that when I go home to visit with the Porsche there is some ******* that wants to race me or tailgates me or something of that nature. Thankfully, do to the inherent nature of white trash being stupid, they can't get into any colleges thus keeping them on the lower end of the socio-economic spectrum so that people like me can keep them in line. I guess when you live in a trailor and are married to an unattractive women and have kids you don't really want to raise, acting cool in your pick-up is really all you have got. I almost pity that.
I was visiting home recently and I bumbed into someone I knew from my high school JROTC unit. We caught up a little and during the conversation he mentioned that someone in my unit who was a totally redneck, hick (he drove around in a cheap domestic truck that he thought was awesome, and always made fun of me and my car) had finished his brief stint with the army. Seems he knocked some girl up, he now has three kids, is married, has no hope of going to college, and is only a couple years older than me. The best revenge truly is living well.
Could be fake . But just because those guys dont look like Hicks, drive a jap truck and have no gun or whatever doesnt mean you cant find stupid *******s in a toyota without a gun.
C'mon, totally staged. No question about it. How convenient that the Toyota-driving "rednecks" are videotaping the whole thing and just happen to have to turn over their camera (which is left in their truck in a perfect position to catch all the action) at the end. Also, the acting is pretty poor! Just some bored friends who decide to have a bit of fun.
