    It's a customised Nova Sterling. It's a kitcar based on a VW-chassis, probably with a VW or Porsche-engine. I don't like it : either you have a real Ferrari or you have a Nova Sterling, never a wannabe-Ferrari !

As Delorean mentionned,it's indeed a Nova Sterling...
I'm not surprised to see he's from Belgium, overhere in Europe there are some Nova's around...
Does they exist in the States...?
I'm putting some pic's in to show how the "car" looks stock...
Note that the front bumper is not original...
Back in the early '90's,I had a friend who's got one,in black,of course he put a Ferrari badge on the hood, and called it a.....Testanova!!!
Apparently the Rubens' car got seriously pimped.
    Who did the job?
Must be Crap Company or something like this...
If I was Ruben and I saw my face on this POS,I would hijack a huge truck and run over the car with it....
    Speedman.

Rear wheels offset and sunroof is pretty awesome....
The underside of the nose looks a little "Enzo",are we sure this isn't the F-70 prototype...?

I recognised the car, since a friend of mine also has one (the grey one in the pictures). His car is more 'original' than the Ferrari-wannabe. But since it's a kitcar made of polyester, I guess 'the sky is the limit' in changing it ...

PS. The DeLorean is mine, but I'm a huge Ferrari-fan too (maybe in a few years time ?) ...

    Regards

    Andy

No, the ACO car was a Probe 16 built by Dennis and Peter Adams together with Jem Marsh. It was a wooden chassis with a 1.9 litre Austin engine and a GRP body sitting only 34" high. 3 were built. One was in California and was burnt at some point in time, one is in Canada and the ACO car is in England undergoing restoration.

I actually quite like the Nova for one thing and one thing only: that hinged canopy.

I love my DeLorean : offcourse you can't compare it with a Ferrari or Lamborghini in terms of power, but it's actually a very nice car to drive at cruisingspeeds. I have went to meetings in Belgium, Holland, Germany and France without being tired or a broken back when I get out of the car. I especially like the 'looks' of the car : nowbody knows what it is exactly, but most people know it from Back to the Future.
Among my other favorite cars are a Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari 308/328 and an AC Cobra. Maybe in the future, we'll see ... I'm only 30 years old.

    Regards from Belgium

Andy,1 thing we can be sure about:your Delorean would have very difficult to rust...
But let me tell you something:I've got my first Porsche at the age of 18,5 years,an old 924 '76,and working in shifts in the Renault factory in Vilvoorde, builing R5's and R21's together....man I hated these cars soooo much...Of course I was a rooky that time,I lost money those years because of the cars I bought, then things changed a little bit,I grow up,became smarter, and made some money with cars and parts(I have had genuine parts from the Porsche 959,Carrera RS 2.7L and Ferrari GTO etc...),I put a little bit of money aside and bought my first Ferrari a little after I reached the age of 30,a old Mondial 8 with work on it.I started to work on it,and one day a man came to see me,he wanted this car for his son, gave me a serious good price,I sold it,and bought a nice Mondial 8,drove the car for 6000km,resold it,to the same man.(!!)Afterwards,I've got my damaged 355 Spyder, wich was a very very good deal, and allowed me to buy my 308,and an big advance for a house...For my Testaroosa,I had to selll one of my Porsches,my 911 convertible...Now I'm having 2 Ferrari's,the 308 and the TR,a Porsche 924 Carrera GT and a lot of others including the 911 Turbo 3.6L convertible(see other threads)...Especially the 2 Ferrari's are NOT reasonable, but it would break my hart to sell one of these ones...especially the TR,but it's an expensive car to drive and to maintain...what should I do...?
All this to explain that 30 is not under-aged to be the owner of a Ferrari...maybe not a 575 Maranello, but you could get a very decent and nice Ferrari for a good price, wich shouldn't be out of reach...
    Speedman.
