Closing out the season with a cruise through southeastern PAs Finest back roads. If you live for the twisties you wont be dissappointed. The route is approx. 70 miles long starting and ending at the same location. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the "Shoppes at Briton Lake" Its a large shopping center with a few places to eat and such. I will post the route directions up soon once we finalize the route.

here is the address to the Borders Books store that is in the shopping center so that you can get directions to it. Its really easy to find its right of Baltimore Pike/Route 1.

We are hoping to have a great turnout for the end of the year. Also we will be taking pre-orders for the DVD at this meet.

We are trying to have a few tuners come by with something to follow us with. most likely AWE Tuning but maybe a few others.

    Hope to see you there

please post if you think your going to try to make it so we have an idea of what to expect. Thank you

I can't make it (nor do I have a car that would be suited for this), but I would be curious to hear about the route since I'm always looking for fun roads in SE PA.

If you plan on driving like an ass and in an immature manner, no. If you are there for a slightly spirited run to enjoy the day, I don't have a problem with that-- and I doubt Andrew will either. Just make sure everybody you bring KNOWS not to drive like an idiot.

    So, lemme see.

We've got something going on the 19th, right?

Now we have this on the 12th.

Here's my old guy question, are you ready? Will this run on the 12th involve a lot of wild, hairy assed young-uns driving like they don't care about the speeding tickets that are piling up in the glovebox along the way?

If so, count me out. I enjoy a nice drive, but I'm not interested in a drag race on route 1 with a bunch of tuner guys. I don't need the aggravation, or the expense of trying to keep up, while avoidin' the local constabulary.

So, gimme a clue. Who's runnin' this, how well is the route planned, what's the demographic on the participants, and... and why would anyone want a DVD of the drive when it's over if we're just out having a good time on some coutry roads in our cars?

    Dave (grizzled veteran driver) M.

the dvd isnt of teh drive its of another project we have been working on.

And As the organzier of the event i assure you that anyone driving like a smacktard will be asked to leave and will not be welcome back. This cruise isnt limited to any sort of car there will be older cars that arent worth alot and hopefull some newer really expensive cars. This cruise is for anyone who likes to enjoy the back roads. The speed limits on most are 25mph, i dont condone speeding but i can tell you I will drive at a safe comfortable speed, meaning maybe 40. If anyone is driving like an idiot, i will be angry and people will call the cops and such and we will be flagged so to speak. The cops already know from our past meets that we do not condone reckless driving or any infraction. And that if they are to arrive we will not hesitate to inform them of who was misbehaving. We are an organization, we have alot at stake. I personally always like to play around with other cars but there is a time and a place for that. With a meet like this, its dangerous. Especially for someone who doesnt know the route. I have driven this route personally thats how i made it up. I will be doing it again with a few people from around here so that there is more than one person that knows it aside from the directions. Also i will likely post up small things at the intersections telling you turn here and such.

I agree with you completely dm_n_stuff, although i am young and our dvd that is coming out features alot of activity that may be deemed illegal, we dont condone this activity at our meets.

I put on these meets partially as a marketing tool, we have a DVD and plan to make another. We host these for the people that enjoy cars as much as we do and we feel that a nice car is just as cool standing still as it is being thrashed on a track. Our DVD is compliled mostly of motosport events and car shows. Although there are some bits of street racing our approach to that is different than your average kid. We have enough people to clear the road around us and ensure we are not endangering anyone but ourselves.

I assure you that im with you 100% on this drive being tame and such. There is too much at risk and one idiot could endanger several. Many of you will NOT be familiar with the route and as I have learned from road racing you never push the car if you dont know whats around the next bend. I took this route by myself slowly and then again and i found that these roads are very tight and twisty they are very very cool roads the elevation even on the straighter roads is pretty cool.

I am 20 years old, and my Business Partner(BSaint) is 19 yrs old. Which may scare you but i assure you that We will have things under control. We invited some people to one of our lasts meets that are no longer invited or welcome to travel with us. Not only were thier cars complete POSs but they acted lie idiot with no regard for the law or the peoples saftey around them.

I Know i repeated myself and its sort of long winded but I see you as a more valuable participant to our events than some random kid in a EVO8.

Ok, I get your drift... (sorry, bad joke.)

I don't track my car, too much at stake for me at this point, and I don't want a face full of gravel from some smart ass who doesn't know any better.

What time does this all start out there?

I won't commit at this point, but if my son (who is about your age) wants to do it, we're in.

time isnt known yet. I will know by sunday. Im trying to decide to decide if we should book lunch reservations at the meeting place or at a place that we pass during our route or if we should ask everyone to eat before hand and have it afternoon. Id rather stop and eat somewhere its always a good time and there is some good food. There is teh Fon and Hound in KOP which we pass and there are a few other places in the shopping center where we meet

i would love to do it early but they are alot of lazy people out there that wont wake up. especially if we dont have a confirmation from some of the people/cars that will make some people want to come out. a Ferrari to some people here might not be as special to a Ferrari to some of the people on Bimmerforums and such. You guys dont understand how the F430 at that cruise made it all worth it

You guys better watch out... Drew's coming. He's a speeeeeeed demon who driftzz around teh corners and breaks all the rulezzz. He's a bad-ass road-rebel!!!

Ok, so if he were the lead car, everybody would stall out. Even the automatic cars. :)

BTW Andrew, if you need any help, I'm 5 mins from the Food Source shopping center.
