He described that as from a 3.2 or 328 and that he didn't take it off the car himself, so possibly not from the QV shell
You could ask him to pass your details onto the winner/buyer, you might find someone bought it not realising how much the parts are and bit off more than they could chew.
Its a shame I didn't know then, as the bidding was very slow at the time, it looked a daunting project for anyone other than us. P.s. Sorry I haven't replied on the email, I am definitely interested in the lightweight type bumpers.
Personally I like the look of the 3.2 bumpers, or an updated version of whats already there but colour coded, I don't want anything too modern as I want it to look like a retro racer, i've seen standard Qv bumpers painted red numerous times and I don't like it, especially where the join is on the side the paint nearly always rubs off, plus with the sides being rubber they never seem to match properly. All I really want to achieve is the lightest but suitable pair of bumpers I can get, I quite like the photoshopped ones you sent me a little while back, also the black Sbarro front bumper. Also weight pending I'm still interested in those side skirts, like the silver and red in the 3rd and 4th pics. The headlight conversion looks great but that would have to wait due to finances (I'm not a wealthy owner).
