Hopefully the 6 speed manual is better mated to this car than the M5 in which you can't defeat the traction control at all. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of these cars around town.
Thanks for the info. The price was lower than what I really expected it to be which is really good! I can't wait to see these cars on the road!
They are not going to be using SMG anymore with BMWs. The SMG III was the last software that's in both M5 and M6. BMW leaned over and partnered up with Audi which has the new Dual Clutch system which results in instant electronic gear changes. That's what will be in the M3 which will be another selling point. Of course manual lovers will always love their car which will be available to them. Me too, not to mention BMW has one of the finest lease programs so you might actually see these cars before they hit the road. Trying to get a hold of one will be tough. It's a year before the due date and I'm already number 17 on the list.
Do you think deals will do crazy mark up on this thing? Maybe I better get on the list and if I don't love it, can pass it on to another person without taking a hit.
They do have the finest lease programs, but not when the car is newly released, and not when the car is an M. Prepare to pay up the ass if you get a car early.
The local dealer asked for 1000 deposit rather than the usual 500. But from what I understood, it offers me a car if there is one in inventory and also MSRP pricing. Of course, when they start to ship, they get me to order it too. You can even buy it cash and sell it on ebay or probably just sell your spot on ebay if you want to flip the deal or you don't think you want the M3 anymore.
Personally I think we are talking two different cars. I know that RS4 is trying to be really sporty 4dr car but it's just like comparing the M5 and the M6. They are both a beast of their own. To be honest with you though, this Interior is to die for. The new M3's interior is a copy of the current version 3 series. Doesn't feel like your getting the luxury along the sportiness. I don't know though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are there good leases available on the regular 328i/335i coupes, or are those still newly released and hot? From the reviews, it sounds like the new 335i picks up pretty much where the e46 M3 left off.
leases on them are really good. It is the end of the month, so if you are on the fence, I'd get a deposit inn next week just to hold the awesome rate for 60 days. We never know what the rates will be like next month, so if the rates are good (like they are now) it is best to put a deposit in and then have 60 days to make a decision.
Yes, supposedly. There have been numerous "actual" photos caught by people doing European Delivery of the sedan M3, aka E90 M3. The coupes are still in high demand. Most people who order now won't receive their car until June, July, or later. Just depends on if the dealer already has spots allocated or not.
i already know I like the RS4 interior better, but maybe the M3 would provide a better driving feel? May also hold value better. It never rains here and I do love my RWD cars. But then my 6 year old gets in and out better with the extra doors, hmmm. Which is expected to be faster to 60 and passing?
i dont know about anyone, but I think it looks terrible. I would rather own a RS4 or even the new V8 Lexus IS, or maybe even Merc's new C-Class in AMG, then this. BMW seems to be screwing up more these days...
What's not to love about the RS4? The interior is amazing. My favorite personally. Check out this clip of the M3 engine. Look at the glow and listen to the roar..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ren3HyHs0L0
the specs to this new motor is suprisingly close to the M3 GTR racer being sold for $245K. Is this the same motor? take a look. http://www.***************.com/frame...php&carnum=798
Great! I will wait till they release the new M3 and will buy the current generation Getting my first job around the time they are releasing it.
When is the Lexus ISF or whatever they will call the V8 IS coming out? It will surely have to be 400+hp now as well.
