Good info. I still have the original keys and always wondered what that one did.

    (I know, I know, RTFM...) ;)

I had no idea it was lockable, no key obviously. Good info, especially for a concourse car. Thanks for posting.

I was able to get the orginal key and lock (less than $20) from Ferrari UK last year, but this is a great resource!

I didn't even know there was a pouch back there - I used to keep my owner's manual under the seat - until I took the seat out to install the fire extinguisher bracket. Then I was like, "huh?" and somehow figured it was for the OM. But I have no key. So I guess I'll have to get one.

The better question is probably along the lines of whether or not anyone has figured out a better use of the center console with the tape holders in them.

I didn't realize a lock was present until I removed the seats from the car for redying. I saw the lock was marked "Amliet"--googled it, and ultimately found the key. Who knew.

Robert, I am need of 2 of the W-47K keys. When I called them she said I need to buy six of them. The price (less than 50 cents each) didn't scare me... however... she caught me off guard when she asked for my "business name". Were you able to obtain 6 of these keys? Reply or PM me. Thanks.

Ohio travel bag is the supplier, they only deal business to business. I gave them my zip code, and they gave me the address of a local shoe/luggage repair shop. Armed with the pdf file I attached on my first post, they were able to order the keys without a problem.

    Robert,

    Thanks!

How do you know this is the EXACT key?

Funny, a while back I looked at my daughter's diary key and it looked pretty close and it actually locked/unlocked the lock (Daddy have you seen my diary key?) but it was a little short, but it was close enough.

    Tom,

I called today and ordered and they didnt give me a hard time at all. I did buy $10 worth ( 20 keys) which i plan to hand out when i judge at concours.

I didn't know what it looked like, I had never seen one before. I was even skeptical a key existed until I got the seat out and took a good look at the lock and found the "Amliet" inscription. I figured Ferrari wasn't going to build a clasp lock from scratch, and it led to the Ohio travel bag catalog. I ordered both two prong keys--one is brass, the other steel. Both work, but the steel is apparently the real one. I can only say that know from this post, which shows a photo of the key:

I found that post after I bought a whole mess of keys, also to cover the Schedoni luggage locks.

I plan on resuming my medication now....

I know.... it's a real bad picture. Took it with my phone camera.
They are all new keys. Some with different shapes.

I finally unlocked mine. Good stuff inside, a couple of receipts plus a hand-drawn map to where Jimmy Hoffa is buried.
