Its happening again...

I've become obsessed with the 348.

I thought once I got my 328 I would stop obsessing and maybe, hopefully stop looking on ebay everyday. It hasn't happened, in fact, its gotten worse.

The point of this is, I think I'm ready for a 348. Thinking TS or spyder. I'm also thinking black tan. There's actually two black cream ts' here in s. florida both with 17k miles. One for 43k and the other for 54k. Both have recent majors, according to their dealerships.

The more I ramble, the more I realize there's no point to this post but to hear you all talk me into buying one...which is why I'm posting this in the 348/355 forum not the 328 forum...

I need to do more research on buying a 348 and what to look for, but regardless, I'm in love.

 

While I'm on the subjet, I've never seen a white 348 spyder.... anyone?

Go for the 348! its the ultimate "drivers" Ferrari! And since you're already used to the dumb shift pattern, its a no-brainer!!

As I am bias I would recommend the Spider it already comes with all the factory upgrades most of the kinks were worked out and more hp 320 instead of 300 plus it seems to hold it's value a bit better.

Get a black/tan 328 and you're stylin'. If you're bored, get some black rubber cement and brush it all over your switchgear and put some blinking Xmas lights around your instrument pod.

I knew what I was getting into by posting in this forum. You are all truly crazy. I think I'll fit right in.

But as for that last comment, I don't understand what my fiance has to do with anything

Bullfighter, my first love was the blk/tan 328 but the white/tan has more than filled that need. My fiance will drive that car and I'll drive the 348. and we'll take separate cars everywhere!

 

Ah, an understanding fiancee. But then she would be if she's going to get a nice 328 to drive!

Several times a year, people will come up and ask me if my 348 is a "new" Ferrari. I say heck no, she's 18 years old going on 19. That's almost antique!

White 328s are nice, but black 328s absorb heat as they cut through the air - reducing air resistance for improved performance. Yours would be a tad faster than the fiancee's.

I was never much for tinted windows but I have to admit I like it on the 348.

 

I never considered tinting either until I put the black wheels on--now I love it...
