Pretty cool... though I'm not nearly as excited about it as I would be, say, a 1:18 model... since it's a licensing issue, maybe Exoto could do it...

What is the status on a scale model of the P4/5 (1:43, 1:18)?

 

That's so awesome...Can't this go around the world not in 80 days instead??

 

The only one I know about is the unauthorized 1/43rd model made by Yow in Japan (resin kit or built-up)..

 

I think he mentioned in the thread about the real car a week or two ago that Ferrari was the source of the delay, due to licensing issues or some whatnot.

 

Ah, I can see it now. A precision team of Shriners driving those in a parade doing figure eights.

Sadly, not from me... At this point, I don't think we'll see one anytime soon - if ever...

 

I know where to get it in 1/43 though....

It wouldn't surprise me if whoever is building these plans to sell them though FAO Schwartz. Jim, if you get one I'll get you a custom fez cap.

 

That go kart car is great, shape looks very good, especially from the rear!
