New Ferrari Watch

So does "swiss movement" mean automatic or quartz? I cant read Italian. I only wished the pit crew watches were automatics.

 

Very well presented in a hard case box with Scuderia Shield on top. Great casual driving watch...I love the look & feel.

Mine is the Limited Edition version... The order is confirmed and in place, but it has not shipped yet. They only did 60 of the LE's and they come in a beautiful Carbon Fiber box with a Ti valve from Schumacher's 2002 F1 car! Can't wait to get it!

I looked on line and did find it after a search on their website... Can't remember how I found it.

You will know it when you see it though. It is in a nice CF box and the Ti valve is in the box right next to the watch! Pretty cool!

Yup. That is it! Sold out in like an hour... They were only doing 60 of them. Only the case and the Ti valve make it unique as far as I know...

damn you must have been quick .. I tried to get the limited edition but was gone before I blinked

 

I dont believe thats the limited edition one... i could be very wrong but thats not the cf box that the L.I. is presented in. You can most vertainly get the standard edition one for ~350 USD

 

Still don't have my LE watch yet... Starting to piss me off too! How the heck long does it take to get these things out?!

 

They gave it to Fisichella in lieu of money, he's very 'appy

 

My LE Ferrari watch finally arrived and... THE BOX IS CRACKED! OMG! The shipping box showed no significant external trauma more than you might expect from shipping anything over seas, but the case was so poorly packed in that box that is has a big crack in it. Hope they will take care of it and get me a new one...hell the box and the Ti valve are the only things that make this ANY different from the one that is HALF the cost! Arrrrrrg!

 

Wow that really sucks. Hopefully they will just ship out another box right away for you.

 

STILL WAITING... They said ship it back and I made the mistake of asking if I could just take everything out of the box and ship JUST THE BOX back... They said they would let me know... Still no word yet. Should have just shipped it all back and told them to send me my money back...

 

Finally took the new watch out of the damaged box last night to try it on and see what I though... Well, I like the watch but the band is THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BAND EVER! It is all due to the buckle too. It has a very sharp edge on it and DIGS IN BADLY! It is also anodized so you probably can't take a tool to it to smooth it out. What an over priced mistake this was!! Hope the rest of you are having better luck. I would also love to hear about others with the NON-Limited Edition version to see if their buckle is as uncomfortable as mine and is digging in to them too...

I ordered my limited edition black one over a month ago. I inquired about it 2 days ago and didn't hear from Ferrari.

Sure enough, I got a FedEx notice today that it should arrive tomorrow and was shipped out only yesterday from Italy.

Typical....

I got mine today, number 120/199 and all I can say is "Wow"! Quite a presentation! The box is amazing, as the the valve from the F2003.

Easily worth 2X the price. Pity really that I will never wear the watch. it is a nice collectors item.
