If you are in the market for a 355, you should not look past this car. Amazing condition and color combo. I noticed a lot of people posting about wanting to buy one, well this is a great car priced to sell. Your search should be over now I have no vested interest in this car and have nothing to gain, just making sure all prospective buyers see it. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=139705466&postcount=712 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that Robbies car? It sure looks like it ......... that is too cheap ........ there must be something wrong with it ............... oh yeah it is not nero ............ You should buy it Chris, so we can be friends !!!
Ya, it's Robbies car. This car is so freaking gorgeous. But I know a lot of people don't poke around the FerrariAds. So I thought it deserved to be "front and center!" I wish I could buy it, maybe some day we'll be friends! LOL
EWWWWWWW!!! Look at all the sticky goo on the center console!!! Awesome example! Someone should snatch this one up!
Ebay is a strange thing. I think most of the actual deal-making happens in person or over the phone. To me, an ebay listing for a Ferrari, is just a way to get a national audience, and start the conversation about a car. The only folks I know of who really place bids sight unseen and buy the cars are dealers. So the prices that will show up as bids, tend to be the buy-it-sight-unseen prices. I'm really surprised to see Robbie's car at such a low price. From all accounts, a very well sorted car.
I've bought two 348s on ebay, sight-unseen. One buy-it-now, one off the bid with a broken tranny. I'm not a dealer. Both sellers had good feedback, both cars as represented. Both 1000 miles away. Maybe I'm a fool, but when I want it, I want it, and I'm not gonna lose it by overshopping and overnegotiating, and they were priced right. Robbie's car is certainly a nice one, but the "market" doesn't give much value to optional equipment like challenge wheels (stupid market). If it's been on ebay 6-7 times and not sold for the reserve price, well, there's a message there. Still a very fine car, and will eventually sell someday to somebody-a very sophisticated buyer for sure.
It's so easy to figure out who are owners when debates on market value start. In this instance I was right x 2 lol As nice as it is there is at least a $7,500 bill around the corner.
Wow, one of, if not the best 355's I've seen. A friend of ours is actually looking for a 355. I know he really wants a black 6speed but, I can shoot him an e-mail see if he's interested.
Its an awesome machine, thats for sure. I wish we could drive LHD cars here under 30 yrs old as I would buy it myself.
Here ya go Jay, And its from the guy who started the 355 registry. http://www.ferrari355registry.com/Ferrari_View.asp?pVIN=111013
You can send a message to the owner if interested http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=12168
I can't believe this is still for sale, the price has come back a fair way too now. Funny, for that money over here you can't get a rough 355, let alone a nice one. I would return it to stock and sell off the extras, that will be the best way to get the most $$ out of it IMO. I'm sure the next owner will be very happy with the purchase.
Thanks for all the kind words guys----Good thing is I don't have to sell it, the only reason is to free up some garage space. So the price it is at right now is firm. The car is very nice and any buyer that knows what they are looking for will not be disappointed... Karma is a $%^&* sometimes. Had a guy about 2 months ago inquire into the car. At the time had it listed for around $57k. He kept talking about the market, market, market. I kept telling him do you want a nice car OR a cheap car. He bought a car about 3 weeks later. He bought it for around $49K and I heard thru the grapevine he has already spent $4k on it and still needs work. Not to be mean, but I laughed at him.... I wish buyers knew the difference between a great car and a cheap car, but most do not... You get what you pay for, bottom line....
Barrett-Jackson had a 99 355F1 GTS go across the block last week. Yellow/Black, 37K miles, needed a major, sticky interior parts and it sold for $52K....
Other than the obviously nice interior can you please explain to us why your car is amazing ? Everyone on here has a hard on for your car but no one will take the next step. Talk is cheap. I am no expert but can't all these known problems on a 355 fail just as easy on your car or have you addressed all these issues.
