Mine have completely disintegrated, and while I can certainly just bypass the whole affair and tie the battery directly to the frame mounting point with an aftermarket cable, I thought it'd be nice to "stay original". The usual parts places list the cables for about $250 for the set. That's a bit steep. It's also unclear if the cables actually include the connectors, or if I'm paying $250 for just the cables themselves.

    Any ideas?

$250!!!!! does that include battery alignment? who needs original at that price maybe $25.00, I'd go to my local car parts store and have $225.00 left for gas!

    Can you please share?

My connector has been super-glued together a couple of times, and I'd sure like to replace it, especially if it is as inexpensive as has been implied here.

    Please post details!

    Thanks - DM

They arrived today and fit perfectly! The only difference between the old ones and these are a slightly different shade of red, and a few more embossed marks on the housings. Otherwise, they're identical.

When I bought my 308, one of these red plastic disconnects was broken, so over the years I've Super-Glued it a couple of times to repair it. Figured that I could live with it if I had to, but when I heard of these readily available, I ordered a pair.

    VERY pleased with the results!

    Couple of comments:

    1) Yes, these are 98% identical to OEM, and I don't care about the remaining 2%.

    2) Don't forget to order a pair of them - both halves are identical one to the other, and you need two. For this price, I'd order a couple extras to hold for possible future spares.

    3) Be careful in tightening the lil' U-bolt which holds the fixed half to the frame. Overtightening this can crack the plastic, which was apparently what had happened to my original, way back when.

MANY thanks for sharing this supplier resource!

    Cheers - DM

For the price, I was thinking of ordering a bunch and putting them up on eBay for $50/set. :D

Got a set for FREE from Skip Barber when i was there as they use the same connectors in their Formula Dodges. $250 is Ferrari pricing, $13 sounds about right.
