Wow, looks OK, but not what I would expect someone to shell out that much for. Hey -- not complaining!

So it could have been bought for $45k at Park Place and instead someone paid $65k at auction?

I know BJ is not always the best gauge, but I follow many auctions and have seen the market, both exotic and muscle cars, take a dump over the past five years. This auction definately seemed to be bringing bigger money than I have seen in some time. Maybe the market it bouncing back a bit.

I saw it today, loved the wheels on it. Are those factory, option or aftermarket?

I saw it on the website. Did they air it on the show?

They look like the Speedlines that came stock on the Euro 348 GTC; I don't believe they were an option in the US, but they could be purchased directly from Speedline BITD.

It was on display with a bunch of the other cars, it had a SOLD sticker on it. I'm not sure if it was on the show or not. I just walked into one of the tents and it was sitting there next to the Diablo 6.0, SL65 AMG Black Series and Spyker C8.

You guys are thinking about this all backwards. The car selling for $63k means our 348's are starting to go back UP in price. :D If you have been looking to get into the 348 Brotherhood you had better do it now while they are still on sale.

This pulled some good money. It's nice to see that for a change.
The 348 looks really nice in yellow! And the wheels look great too

Even after the 10% sellers premium this nets $56,700. Booze plus emotions = a nice sellers outcome.

If I ever sell, maybe this is the way to go.

anyone notice there is no cavilino in the front grill?

I assume the 348's are the same as the 355's, right?

The first one with the cavallino also has a plate holder. There must have been some changes through the years or one of those shown was an early prototype. That being said, I need a plate holder for my 355 so I don't get hassled...

Sellers at BJ pay 8% of hammer price plus a basic entry fee. If you want the car inside (vs the outside tent) there is an additional fee as well. Entry fee is variable and based on the day and time they assign to auction your vehicle.
