I'm not a big fan of how they look. But if they function better, then who cares? As long as you keep the old seats it shouldn't matter.

Did you have to cut and drill anything to get them in?

Can you take some pictures that show the whole car so I can see the overall look?

My apologies if this seems like i am 'parachuting' in...

Yes, he went with Sparco Roadsters with the red cover, mine are black (see pics below). They definitely FUNCTION better than stock at keeping me in the seat (5' 11" 175 lbs, 32" waist 32" leg). NOTHING needs to be cut or drilled, they simply bolt in AND you save about 25-30 lbs total weight versus stock.

The red cloth cover on his seats can EASILY be removed, washed, and/or replaced with the black as seen on the 308 (pic below). You can also strip the seat cover/padding off and have a custom seat padding made if you so desire.

Looks pretty good. Did they mount to existing tracks? I was thinking about doing the sparco milano 2 seats in tan.

In the 308 here the tracks were not necessary. Simply get the OMP low height side brackets and bolt up. Yes the eliminates the ability to adjust the seat, yet once you find the position you like there usually is never a need to move the seats anyway.

No, i used the universal brackets you can get with them. I got the sliding ones. You still have to fabricate some pieces. I got three of the screws in then had to cut a piece of flat metal 1 by 2 inch with a couple of holes and lined it up to get the fourth.

I got the sliding tracks $45 each. It's nice to slide the seat back to get in or out, then slide forward and you're ready to roll. Those Milanos 2 in tan are awesome looking, they give that stock look but are way cooler!

Thanks....I think it looks good. I really would like to see some more pictures of the whole car. Maybe next time you take it out for a drive you could take some more pictures. I have never seen a 308 or a 328 with sport seats before. It definitely looks different.

Same here, though I have no doubt that the Sparco seats provide a better feel and support during serious handling exercises!

I've looked at the Sparco literature, and I've wondered how the car would look with their beige (tan) seats, whether they're near enough to the rest of a 308 Ferrari's tan interior.

Amen! The difference IS NOT subtle. Perhaps my 32" waist combined with the lackluster support of the stock seats/seat belts had me moving around in the stock seat while the Sparco Roadster/Schroth belt setup keeps me firmly planted. The benefit, besides lowering the car's sprung weight, is that i can concentrate on DRIVING without trying to keep myself IN the (stock) seat and also now have a MUCH better feel of what the car is doing. Another benefit is that i feel safer in the car as am firmly 'bolted in.' usually less moving parts (eliminating the seat sliders) is a good thing.

Have heard they look great! Debated the Milano seats, but they weigh a lot so no real benefit IMHO other than about the same side support as the Roadster to keep you in the seat AND you could then add proper race shoulder belts. The Milano do indeed look good, though for me the lower weight won out for the price/performance category.

FYI: Sparco Milano is 38 lbs, nearly the same as stock.
    Sparco Roadster is 14.8 lbs.
Neither includes bracket and necessary bolts weight factored in.

FYI: Another benefit is that the side mirrors NEVER allowed me to see the correct visuals beside/behind me, the Roadster moved me up an inch or so and now the side mirrors 'make sense.' My body structure dimensions is typical Italian distribution with a height of 5' 11".

The biggest problem I had when I installed after market Corbeau leather seats in my 308, was the room between my head and the TS top. The original seats were a lot lower profile and had thin padding for your butt, while the new seats had mucho more padding. I installed the new seats with the ordered brackets provided, and couldn't sit in the car without my head hitting the roof. 6'0" 225lbs. So now only my wife can drive it.

As far as the look of the sparcos in a 308, a little loud and not a big fan of the bling bling huge Sparco logo on the top of the seats.

Thanks Bryan, I'm 5'10 and it is a little tight on the headroom. I don't have to slouch. They sit straight, no recline like the originals i had those lean back.

Does the roadster seat adjust in anyway, aside from sliding forward and back with the appropriate rails?
