Sad really that some people are that dumb. However, I wonder how many people realized what they were doing.

the ex-mrs tomf-1 taught college geography. she will attest the suprising number of college juniors & seniors still have trouble identifying different continents around the globe.

I'm stunned. And these people actually get a vote in who gets to be President.

sad isn't it? I remember an article about a middle or high or elementary Scholl survey in which not even a majority could name the country immediately to the south of the US.

I'd have liked to hear the actual question too. There's no way that when asked "in the war against terror, what country do you think should be set ablaze?" someone could answer "Brazil". People just can't be that stupid. There again, a friend of mine doesn't know the difference between Monaco and Morocco ...

There's another vid of maybe the same guy asking "how many states does Canada have?" ... after a buch of people randomly spitting out numbers, some 6 year old goes "heeeey, Canada has provinces!" ... lol

Deffinately, they probably asked a million people and just chose the dumbest 20 answers.

but whats the fun in pointing out the problems in media reporting? you know they can essentially find evidence that anything is possible, through point of view and statistical manipulation (thats why i dont consider statistics real math, because answers are not consistent)

my news favorite (well the general idea): "something that you are doing right now could kill you, more at 11" and its the last thing that comes on the news at 11

That is funny. The guy interviewing sounds like he is probably Aussie, which is why they use Oz for Iran, Korea and so on.

Shot at Venice Beach, California. People could be from anywhere, and at least one guy appears to be homeless.

They showed a video during the election where they asked women at a rally if they would support an end to womens' suffrage. Because of the sound of the word many of them said "yes". But no matter how ridiculous the question you can always find someone who gives an entertaining answer.
