Nice meeting you as well Marc ... sweet Noble!
Those are last decals from Silverstate. I just took 2 more off tonight. And they don't even make K&N for the GALLARDO!
Hey Brian. We missed you today! Steve's incident was definately a bummer, however, he (and his son) are extremely lucky! A little more momentum and we could have had a real disaster on our hands! Aside from "the incident" the rest of the event was enjoyable. Not quite to the level of the first time due to the overwhelming number of CHP. We counted 12 CHP over the course of about 20-25 minutes coming down into the Valley.
Wow! Awesome pictures!! Real quality pics! The T-Rex does look goofy without the roof ... lol Are there full size versions of these pics hosted somewhere? Or perhaps I could beg for one or two emailed? I particularly love the one of the Gallardo in front of the "cliff" and the one with the Titanium 456 and the 40mph sign ... whoa!!! Wish this event wasn't 3k miles away
Byron, Costa, Jeffrey, Jennifer, JL, Jordan, Sunny, Jeremy, Mitchel, ect., it was great seeing you all as well as others that I met. Despite the incident, this was a great event, glad the driver and passenger both were ok. My dad and I had a great time and can't wait till the next event. I will try to get my pics up as soon as possible, but have been busy tonight. See you at the next drive! -David
Byron and JLM thanks for putting together an excellent event! You guys really go the extra mile. Chris, Jordan and Richard thanks for an entertaining lunch. It's great to put faces to forum members. Kevin
Dammit! I should have changed my flight to today instead! I knew I would regret it. I am looking forward to future rides with the group. Dave (Darth550) took me out to Stunt Rd. on Friday and I was blown away. What a great place to drive. Awesome!
I wanted to come, but unfortunately had a prior family committment to go to. Involved Knott's Berry Farm, and I had the crap scared out of me on Xcelerator (0-82mph in 2.6 seconds!). I don't need to spend $1.4 on a McLaren F1. $24.95 will get me the same accelaration thrills, and instead of 3 seats, it's a 20 seater Anyhow, I understand Steve's situation. I've been on all to many drives where the person behind you rides your tail, and it's very stressful. Hopefully what happened to Steve (and thankfully, no one was hurt!) will be a lesson to others that driving on a road isn't a race, and therefore tailgating isn't going to make the person drive any faster or better. Can you imagine what would have happened if Steve had to slam on the brakes? Two toasted cars, that's what...and possibly some injuries... Anyway, I'm glad everyone was fine, and that Steve's car suffered minor damage only (he just got it!).
Awesome Pics Guys !! Thanks for posting..Do you know who owns that TREX? I'm considering buying one and I'd love to talk to someone that owns one. Cheers Jeff
I believe that would be Adam aka. FastTalk. Check out the wonderful pictures from a thread Byron posted a while back. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12885&highlight=byron+trex Buy that and you can sign up for tailgate patrol for these Sunday drives. Just a thought. Brigitte
When's the next L.A. meet? I would love to finally attend my first F-chat event, especially since I can never make it to CC. Nice cars guys. I wouldn't have been able to attend this one anyway since I was in Vegas over the weekend. I probably would have seen you guys driving around. PLEASE let me know! Thanks.
Maybe it is just me, but no car pictures are coming up for me. The only picture I see is one of a stunningly beautiful, elegant yet understated, classy with a very vibrant smile, of a magnificently sultry woman wearing a white shirt and jeans on post #26.
Awesome pics!!! Exempting for the incident(I hope all is well) it looks as if it was a great turnout!!! I can't wait to join you guys the next time!!! When is the next event going to be?
Here are some pictures that I took on the cruise. I am very happy that Steve and his son were not injured. A scraped up car is a small price to pay for this lesson, because it could have been much worse. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?show_all=1&id=4286786197&start=1 I have never gone on cruises (with this many cars) up Malibu Canyon or Angeles Crest without something happening like this. It's too bad that everyones testosterone and little brain (below their waist) takes over. Thanks for letting us in the Viper tag along. I am glad that in the end that everything worked out. Brad
