    Hello

A friend of mine bought #13467 a Red Plexi Daytona.
Internet isn't its generation so he asked me to post this message.

He will offer a new paint to the car but before that would like to be sure it is in its original color combo.
Every historical element also much appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Paul DUBOIS

Didn't anyone even bother to look and see that this spyder started out as a coupe...
I always enjoy a Ferrari presented in it's original colors but there seems little interest in originality now unless it relates to the drivetrain ( engine etc) basically.

In reality there are practically no original paint Daytona models around at this late date. (Perhaps a few pampered USA models)
The cars were sitting outside rusting before they even got their original first coat of paint. 1970's Italian rust protection was sadly lacking. Some car colors rusted more than others due to different primer choices used. Unless you are parking the Daytona on a green lawn somewhere; the original color has little effect on the market value...

^^^ The new owner may just want it to be as it left the factory, in its original colours.

I have no idea what your posts in this thread have to do with anything. The original poster said nothing about market value; he asked if anyone here knew the original color scheme of this car. Apparently, you do not.

...Or the original owner, his wife, their children, the first mechanic, their long-time body guy, a neighbor who saw it arrive home in period and snapped a photo... This forum's info comes served up from a wealth of sources with history and original info. No disrespect to Marcel, of course.

    Thanks for your comments.
I don't have any interest in that.
And it's not a question of value.
The owner has not the time and the feeling for forums.
I offered my help to him by posting this message.

Original Color Combo Ext./Int. it would be great.
And in what condition Sig. Pascarelli (from H. Raab's Archives) first owner got it ?
Owner of the car considers that you aren't owner of a Ferrari when you have not bought it new. He s very respectuous and curious about this car's history and, in need of a good paint, he wants to respect the original.

    Thanks
