    It's an Oldsmobile engine... looks wide enough to be a "big block" Olds too... 400 or 455.

    Hello,

    It was a 455 that came out of a 69 FireBird. We had to do some hacking to get it fit in the 81 (84 maybe??) 2 door Impala chassis and Ferrari inner fender wells.

    I found some pics of the build back in 1986-87. I will scan and post shortly.
