    Parked in front of our home probably 1968-70 sometime . Photo doesn’t do it justice. Dad let me drive regularly . Heavy car , heavy clutch . Paint was a beautiful metallic blue with a light tan interior .
    Woodwork was flawless from what I remember. I saw a picture of it restored and painted burgundy . That’s what sent me looking for an old photo . Memories .

    Thanks for posting this, Jim and also the more recent photo, Marcel.

    I notice that the overriders have disappeared, allowing the elegant design of the bumpers to be obvious.

    Was blue metallic the original color from Michelotti?

    I believe the metallic blue was original from my brief research . We certainly did not repaint it.

    09083 was born in October 1966 as regular 330 GT 2+2 Coupé Pininfarina and originally painted Grigio Fumo 18944 M with Rosso VM 3171 interior.
    Chinetti sold it to first owner Mr. Eckert in NYC. Later on Eckert traded it back to Chinetti.

    1968 it was in a crash and Chinetti sent it to Italy where Michelotti rebodied it. Painted blue.

    Very interesting ! Looks very well cared for . So nice to see these cars live on .
