The date code will be on the inside of the rim. It could be in the recesses of the petals, or on the hub area of the petals.

For interior carpets, you can also use GAHH. I used them for my leather seat covers, leather dash and some other parts on my Weissach. Other friends have used Autos International, and their materials are very good, too!

For a rebuild, try TRE. If you run across someone named Jerry Marks/Marquez or a similar name, RUN! He ran MotorMeister, and most recently, Stuttgart Auto Works.

Thanks so much for your help..

The engine started up with some smoke.
I let is idle for a while and the smoke went away.
Did a comp test and was 140 all around..
Just got the registration updated so now I can drive it around the block legally..
Is Sierra Modre any good? Their site looks pretty complete with just about everything one would need to freshen everything up.
Thinking of doing the interior for sure, rims, and maybe an engine rebuild to detail the engine bay etc..
Paint looks ok with small chips here and there but its serviceable.

Yes...Sierra Madre is a great vendor for hard-to-find parts. Also try Stoddard's and Pelican Parts.

What should I do with he steering wheel?
Its been covered for some time now to hide the cracking in the plastic/rubber etc. Its there someone who restores these?
    Thanks so much..
