    Chuck,

Please take a deep breath and chill out. I did not doubt anything that you said about your Boxer.

I remembered seeing the Eastwood/Boxer photo in the 50th Anniv. book and I thought you and others might like to see it.

The Boxer in that photo is not red, so either Clint had the car that you now own repainted red, -or- he has owned more than one 365BB.... it's as simple as that.

No reason to get mad at me for trying to provide information regarding Clint's former Boxer.

    Gary

Not mad at you Gary. I just felt like I was getting ganged up on about my Boxer from alot of different people. All I want is factual info about my car so I can better value it for the future. All I can say is that nobody knew anything about the history of my car ( The Bimmer Store) when I bought it. I just wanted a Boxer and bought it on blind faith. IMPULSE!
    Thanks Chuck

He can call the Mayor's Office for ya!

That 1977 512 did not stay on Ferrari of Houston's Autoweek ad very long. Did it sell?

    Any info?

Mr. Risi's Black/black 512bbi was still in the showroom Saturday, though...

Sorry -But this is complete rubbish,

#17071 is a GTS/4 (The penultimate Daytona Spyder)
    #17185 is the Prototipo GTB/4BB
    #17203 is 365 GT 2+2

    #17223 & #17257 are GTB4/BB Cars 2 & 3 in production sequence respectively....!

Who is this guy ? - If you're reading it seems you understand very little ?

    Good day Romano,

I think what limited the Bat auction price of chassis 17257 was that the car has seen many modifications and so is not entirely original. Secondly, various underneath pictures show that the underneathy bits could use some love along with correct tires, etc. Overall a car that presents as having some needs. Since there has been a push for originality in many cars... and if the an owner wishes to do so... then this car will need fair amount of time/effort/$ to restore the car back to its original form.

    Cheers,

    Sam
