    1974 Maserati Indy 4900

    The car keeps running after I take the key out, when I pull the connector apart from the wires coming out of the switch, there is no change, the car keeps running. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello---

    This has nothing to do with your switch.
    Had this happen to me a few years back.
    In my case it only happened with the AC switched on. When AC compressor was turned off, everything went back to normal.
    Did you recently have any electrical work done?
    Try to think when this started.
    Did any cowboys work on the car?
    Think back and experiment with all the ancillaries; you will find it.
